Generally, undergraduate teachers must have a Ph.D. degree, preferably from a prestigious university or with a Ph.D. degree with study abroad experience. In some schools’ independent colleges and vocational and technical colleges, a master’s degree can meet the requirements.

In China, each university has the right to recruit teachers independently and will set its own recruitment requirements. There are two main selection methods. One is for current students to stay in school to teach, which requires you to have very good grades and outstanding abilities in all aspects. The second is to recruit people with rich teaching experience and outstanding abilities from society, which requires you to have higher qualifications or good interpersonal relationships.
