Zhanjiang No.1 Middle School is located at No.52 Nanfang Road, Chikan District, Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province. It is a national model ordinary high school, a first-class school and a key middle school in Guangdong Province.

The school was founded in 1937, formerly Peicai Middle School. 1952 merged with the then No.1 Middle School and Hezan Middle School and was named Zhanjiang No.1 Middle School.

As of August 20 17, the total campus area was 1 18350 square meters, and the school building area was 103 195 square meters. As of June 2006 10, there were 7 classes in senior high school 1 17, with about 7,000 students, 450 faculty members and 390 full-time teachers.
