As early as 2003, our city arranged 5 million yuan of scientific research funds to support the development and trial-manufacture of 12 large-scale high-efficiency polysilicon reduction furnace, which took the lead in realizing the breakthrough of 1,000-ton polysilicon production technology in China. This year, 5 million yuan of support funds will be arranged to support the research and development of the physical polysilicon project to upgrade the silicon industry and the Century Xinyuan fluidized bed polysilicon project. China Silicon Industry Co., Ltd. received 8.3 million yuan of national science and technology support fund to carry out research and development of large-scale high-efficiency pressurized reduction furnace technology device, large-scale trichlorosilane synthesis and purification device and large-scale silicon tetrachloride hydrogenation technology. These three projects have been included in the science and technology support plan of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and passed the acceptance in April this year. Investment in technology research and development will definitely pay off. For polysilicon, Luoyang took the lead in developing 12 and 24 pairs of rod reduction furnaces in China, taking the lead in adopting tail gas recovery technology to realize closed-loop production, and maintaining the leading position in quality and cost control in China. In terms of monocrystalline silicon photovoltaic cells, Luoyang Suntech's product conversion rate has always maintained a leading position in China; In terms of solar cell silicon wafer, Hongtai Company is one of the main drafting units of national standards; In terms of photovoltaic application, the independent photovoltaic power supply system of Shangda Forest Farm is the first in China.
