What does the written test of state-owned enterprises generally take?

The content of written examination in state-owned enterprises is different for different enterprises. Generally speaking, the contents include but are not limited to: line test (professional ability test), essay application (writing), Gong Ji (current affairs), industry common sense and professional knowledge, corporate culture, etc. Some will have professional personality tests, but they are for reference only, regardless of scores.

1. Test (professional ability test)

Compared with civil servants, state-owned enterprises and central enterprises have fewer test questions, such as speech comprehension, mathematical operation, judgment and reasoning, data analysis and thinking strategies.

2. Application (writing)

Applying for writing is relatively simple, and it is generally summarized in terms of exams, material composition and so on. And most units don't check.

3. Industry common sense/professional knowledge

Some state-owned enterprises will examine candidates' industry knowledge, such as China Tobacco Industry/Tobacco Bureau recruitment examination tobacco knowledge, and Railway Bureau will examine railway knowledge, which are all basic contents related to the industry.

Professional knowledge is usually set according to the needs of the post. For example, the written test of power grid is divided into eight categories: electrician, communication, computer, accounting, management, finance, other engineering and other majors.

Some units will take the English exam, such as companies with international business or positions that need to master foreign language skills.

4. Corporate culture

The score of corporate culture is not high, generally accounting for 5- 10, and the topics are relatively simple, such as ranking of top 500 companies, core values, corporate culture, corporate brands, etc. Some companies don't check.
