Placement position

Mahogany furniture should be placed indoors away from doors, windows, tuyeres and other parts with strong airflow. Don't be exposed to the sun.

Matters needing attention in winter

Don't put it near the heating in winter; Avoid excessive indoor temperature. Generally speaking, it is desirable for people to feel comfortable wearing sweaters indoors.

Matters needing attention in spring, autumn and winter

In spring, autumn and winter, to keep the indoor air dry, it is advisable to spray it with a humidifier; Raising fish and flowers indoors can also adjust the indoor air humidity. Note that if mahogany furniture is placed in a long-term unoccupied room, it is easy to cause wood shrinkage and deformation.

Matters needing attention in summer

When summer comes, we should always turn on the air conditioner to remove moisture, reduce the moisture absorption and expansion of wood, and avoid cracks caused by wet expansion and deformation of structural parts.

Daily cleaning

Keep the furniture clean and tidy, you can wipe the dust with a dry rag every day, and it is not advisable to use chemical brighteners to avoid adhesion and damage to the paint film. In order to keep the paint film bright, walnut kernels can be crushed and peeled, and then wrapped repeatedly with gauze to make an oil wipe. After the surface of mahogany is oiled, polish it with gauze to remove the oil.

Coat with beeswax

Furniture top, bottom and other unpainted or thin film parts can be coated with beeswax or household wax by themselves, and then leveled with a hair dryer. Protect wood and reduce cracking and deformation.

Glass plate protection

For the panel of Taiwan Province mahogany furniture, in order to protect the paint film from being scratched and show the wood grain, a thick glass plate is usually placed on the desktop, and a small sucker pad is used to separate the glass plate from the wooden desktop. It is not recommended to use transparent polyethylene crystal disk.
