I am a publishing major, and my internship unit is a digital reading company. My department is responsible for an online literature website under the company, and the internship work is relatively correct. Compared with traditional publishing houses, I am an Internet company that keeps pace with the times. I am an editorial assistant.

Because the internship in the company depends on the teacher's relationship, it can be said that it was forced into the company. Only HR in the human resources department and the person in charge of the docking department know that interns are coming.

The teacher recommended me to HR, and HR assigned me to the supervisor, who gave me a long-term colleague in a department. My colleague was forced, and suddenly there was one more person, and I didn't know what task to assign to me.

There is also a small feeling: you have to rely on your own strength to apply for a job. I planned three book promotion activities, independently created copywriting, and achieved good results, adding some fans to the media number and increasing some reading.

I once thought that the way out for students majoring in publishing was text editing, and it was enough to lay a good foundation for writing. The real job is not what the recruitment requirements say. Is it enough to do a good job? That's not true. As a subordinate, you must do whatever the boss gives you, unless you don't want to be paid. Moreover, in today's society, versatile talents are more popular with employers. What HR doesn't want to have 18 kinds of martial arts on the person who comes to the interview?

Compound talents can "survive" for a longer time, and one skill that is more proficient than others may be the capital for promotion.

I can take photos, retouch pictures, write soft articles, copy new media, and push typesetting more and more skillfully, so I can cope with the sudden situation of changing hot spots temporarily. Internship has made me know more about this industry than books and movies. What I see is the real editing of daily life. The editor-in-chief of an online literature website sits diagonally opposite me, and I am opposite the editor. Our editor graduated from the department of mathematics, but she started as an online editor, a job unrelated to her major, because she likes reading online novels, is willing to work around online texts, and loves editing work. She really loves it.

I don't know whether working on a website makes my colleagues like reading novels or because they like reading novels. Every colleague I see loves reading books, and some of them are even writing novels, from editors to UI to product managers, and they all have a lot of reading.
