The new campus of Anhui Qianshan No.2 Middle School is located in Wanguo East Road, Qianshan City, adjacent to Erqiao Park, with superior geographical location, convenient transportation and beautiful environment.
The school, formerly known as Anhui Qianshan Junior Normal School, was founded in 196 1. August-July 1968, changed to Qian Shan Middle School. During the Cultural Revolution, the school was closed, and the No.2 Middle School of Qianshan County was established in July 1977, and was restructured into Tianzhu Mountain in Anhui Province. 1in may, 1993, with the approval of the provincial education commission, the establishment of vocational middle schools was revoked and the establishment and enrollment of ordinary high schools were resumed. The school was named "No.2 Middle School in Qianshan County, Anhui Province".
In February, 2004, the school was promoted to Anqing Model High School, and in May, 20 13, it was promoted to Anhui Model High School.
