Main responsibilities of Zhuzhou Education Bureau

(a) the implementation of national and provincial laws, regulations, guidelines and policies on education; Responsible for drafting the city's development plan, implementation measures, annual plan and education system reform plan and organizing their implementation.

(two) responsible for drafting the city's compulsory education development plan and organizing the implementation; Overall planning and coordinating the management of preschool education, compulsory education, ordinary high school education, vocational and adult education, special education and private education in the city, serving community colleges and lifelong education.

(three) responsible for the overall management of education funds in this department, and supervise and manage the collection and use of education funds in the whole city; To guide and organize the implementation of the internal audit of the education system; Guidance and management of the city's financial assistance for students with financial difficulties.

(four) in charge of the work of teachers in the city. Organize and guide the qualification identification, recruitment, job evaluation, training, deployment and exchange, file management, assessment and rewards and punishments of teachers in primary and secondary schools, kindergartens and secondary vocational schools in the city; Guide the construction of talent team in the education system.

(five) to guide the research and reform of education and teaching in schools at all levels, and to fully implement quality education.

(six) to guide the ideological and political education, moral education, sports health, art education and national defense education in schools at all levels.

(seven) the overall management of all kinds of higher and secondary education entrance examination; Responsible for organizing the ordinary high school level examination; Formulate enrollment plans for ordinary primary and secondary schools and secondary vocational schools in the city; Guide and coordinate the employment and entrepreneurship of college graduates.

(eight) responsible for the statistics, analysis and release of the city's basic education information.

(nine) responsible for the supervision and management of the transformation of dangerous schools and the construction of school buildings in the city.

(ten) to guide and manage the educational technology and equipment, work-study program, health care, safety and stability of the schools in the city.

(eleven) the overall management of the city's language work; Formulate the city's language planning and organize its implementation; Guide the promotion of Putonghua and standardize the training and testing of Chinese and Putonghua teachers.

(twelve) responsible for the city's education supervision; Guide county and city education.

(thirteen) to be responsible for the dispatch management of overseas students in the education system and the foreign affairs of education.

(fourteen) to undertake other tasks assigned by the Municipal People's government.
