Is honesty and kindness a disadvantage now?

In today's society, honesty and kindness are not shortcomings, which is from the perspective of outsiders, but if someone really takes advantage of my honesty and kindness, I will think it is a shortcoming. With the continuous development of society and technology, the network is becoming more and more developed, and people's hearts are becoming more and more numb. Personally, I prefer honest and kind people, because I'm from the countryside, and they all say that urban routines are deep. Only when I went to college did I find that the urban routine was really deep.

When I first entered the university, to be honest, some people thought I was honest and always took advantage of me. For example, they always let me bring food but never give me money, and they also make fun of my simplicity and kindness in class. Thinking of that time, I really hate these people. So I don't believe in any good roommates at all in college. Only then did I find that all my good roommates belong to other people's families, but I didn't accompany them. It is because of this relationship that I keep growing. They told me that there are few good people in this world, and most of them are people who calculate you. But I don't think all people are like this, because as long as I go out, I often meet good people, honest people and kind people. When I went to the canteen, my aunt smiled and mopped the floor to remind me to walk from a dry place. I asked the old man for directions when I went to play. The old man smiled and took me to my destination.

Not everyone is terrible, but some good people donate money to poor children in poor mountainous areas. And some people just use the kindness of honest people to squeeze migrant workers, and don't take their labor seriously. I really understand. Therefore, honesty and kindness are not shortcomings now. If people in the world are insidious and heartless, do you think we still have the meaning of existence? Good people and honest people bring us hope. We feel that there are many loving and kind people in the world.
