Brief introduction of Shanghai Oriental Hospital

Shanghai Oriental Hospital (affiliated to Tongji University) was founded on 1920. It is a three-level first-class general hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, first aid, prevention and health care. The hospital is located in Shanghai Lujiazui Financial and Trade Zone and Expo Park, with a total construction area of10.6 million square meters and 2000 open beds. The 90,000-square-meter new building being expanded will add 500 beds. There are over 700 employees/kloc-0, including 78 doctoral students and 57 master students/kloc-0.
