What does a steel caster do?

The work mainly includes: (1) directing the crane to transport the steel bucket above the ingot mould; (2) operating the pouring nozzle of the ladle, adjusting the flow rate, and pouring molten steel into the ingot mold to form an ingot; (3) adding protective slag and heat preservation agent into the ingot mould; (4) using tools, making tumors, measuring temperature and sampling; (5) forming and capping the steel ingot; (6) Command the crane to transport the steel drum to the ladle turret of the continuous casting machine or to change the tank car; (7) controlling the pouring nozzle of the ladle, adjusting the flow and liquid level of the tundish, and putting molten steel into the tundish of the continuous casting machine; (8) operating the nozzle of the tundish of the continuous casting machine, adjusting the flow rate, and pouring molten steel into the continuous casting crystallizer to form a billet; (9) installing a nozzle, testing the temperature of molten steel, and adding mold flux and heat preservation agent; (10) continuous casting machine operation, steel drawing speed control, ice cooling and hydraulic system; (1 1) Control the leveler of the continuous caster to straighten the billet; (12) operate a cold shear or a flame cutter to cut the continuous casting billet into a specified length; (13) Operate steel turning, pushing and moving equipment to transport continuous casting billets, command cranes, stack billets, mark and send them; (14) Prepare tundish, command crane to turn over cans and clean up residual steel; (15) thread the dummy bar of the continuous caster, replace the crystallizer, handle the fault and maintain the equipment.
