In the construction of teaching staff, the Software College adopts the recruitment system of survival of the fittest, carries out the evaluation of teaching quality and implements the feedback exchange mechanism, thus forming a teaching team combining theoretical teachers, practical guidance teachers and software engineering technicians. Among them, double-qualified teachers have accounted for more than 50% of the total number of professional teachers. Software College is the national backbone teacher training base of software engineering, and won the Best Teacher Training Award of Microsoft IT Cooperation College in 2006. In 2007, the teaching team of computer network and software development in Software College was awarded as the only provincial teaching team in software vocational colleges in the province. In the practical teaching, the Software College established the practical training project of the Software College of Minjiang University through the mode of combining Industry-University-Research with the experience of domestic and foreign software enterprises in technology and training. This project plans training programs based on the development background of the enterprise. Through on-campus training and off-campus job training, students of various majors can form teams according to the needs of the project, and under the guidance of qualified teachers with double qualifications, they can jointly complete the demand analysis and development of the project.

According to the idea of training, introducing and improving, on the one hand, the college introduced a group of talents with middle and senior technical titles and engineering practice experience on the basis of the existing teaching staff; on the other hand, it planned to arrange young and middle-aged teachers to work in large IT enterprises and participate in various project development, thus creating a "double-qualified" teaching staff. Set up a strong practical teaching guidance team, which is composed of theoretical teachers, practical guidance teachers and software engineering technicians. At the same time, the college has established a teacher training and continuing education system to encourage and support teachers, especially young and middle-aged teachers, to learn and improve. Every winter and summer vacation, the college will send backbone teachers to participate in certification training to ensure that all teachers who teach certification courses have passed relevant professional training. There are 1 12 full-time teachers in our college, of which 30% are teachers with senior titles, 30% are teachers with master's degree or above, and more than 50% are double-qualified teachers. Our college is the national backbone teacher training base of software engineering, and won the best teacher training award of "Microsoft IT Joint School" in 2006, and the number of people who won the title of "Silver Teacher of Microsoft College Course" accounted for two-thirds of the total number of award-winning teachers in China.
