On June 1976, Suixi Normal School resumed, and Comrade Liu was in charge. On July 2nd, Anhui Provincial Education Commission issued document No.8657, agreeing that Suixi Normal School should be renamed huaibei normal School, with dual leadership of cities and counties, with a school scale of 600 students and a three-year schooling system, and targeted enrollment for cities and counties.

1989 Vice Governor Zhang inscribed the name of Huaibei Normal University.

199 1 year 1 October 18, Huaibei city organization Committee issued the notice on the organization level and configuration of schools in huaibei normal: Shi Huai was approved as a county-level institution with the scale of/kloc-0. There is a director of the office, a deputy director of education and a secretary of the Youth League Committee. There are 54 teachers. There are 265,438 cadres and 0/5 workers/kloc, with a total quota of 90 (70 in the first half of the year).

1999 with the approval of Anhui provincial education commission, our school enrolled five-year junior high school specialized classes. The school is marching towards higher normal colleges.

On May 22, 2000, with the approval of the provincial education commission, Huaibei Normal University was affiliated to our school. In September, 2000, 350 three-year junior college students were enrolled. On February 13, 2004, Huaibei Vocational and Technical College signed an agreement with our school to recruit five-year junior high school normal students to enter the training stage of higher education from 2004.

20101016, the school celebrated its 60th anniversary, which was presided over by Yue Junzhi, secretary of the Party Committee and director of Huaibei Education Bureau. Yu Xiangdong, vice mayor of Huaibei City, and Yan, director of the Provincial Education Department, attended the celebration. About 1500 leaders of provincial secondary vocational schools, municipal and county ministries, secondary vocational schools, primary and secondary schools and former alumni attended the meeting to express their congratulations.
