Quit my 7K job and can't find a job in a third-tier city. Can you still do it at the age of 30?

The reason for this concern is that in third-tier cities, the demand for many Internet jobs is not great, and it is not as developed as in first-tier cities, and jobs are not necessarily easy to find. It turned out to be true. I stayed at home for half a month and haven't found a job yet.

In fact, getting a salary of 7K in Shenzhen is a low-income group in Shenzhen. Because Shenzhen has high prices, expensive water and electricity, more expensive tourism and more expensive consumption, it takes at least 20,000 yuan to live in Shenzhen, so that you can barely live a medium life. This is also the reason why Huang Yu wants to leave Shenzhen, because it is a waste of time to stay in Shenzhen.

Another reason for leaving Shenzhen is that my age has reached an embarrassing stage. 30 years old, can't fool around. The ancients said that you should have your own career at the age of 30. It's time to plan the future for my family. For those who have no venture capital and ability, working is still the only way out. But at the age of 30, it is quite depressing to find a job, because freshmen in their twenties are eager to move and full of energy in the workplace.

From Shenzhen to Heze, I went to the city talent market three times. What changes me is that the talent market is not as lively as it was a few years ago. Every Tuesday and Thursday, the company does not recruit many people, but there are many traditional jobs in traditional industries, such as general workers, accountants, sales, drivers and waiters. There are no new media editing and operation positions at the job fair.

So I went directly to the e-commerce industry-intensive park to find a job. The first choice is the smallpox e-commerce park, where the Internet is relatively strong. However, through my visit, there are indeed many positions for small companies in Gege, but none of them are suitable for me. First of all, the park is dominated by e-commerce, with new media work as an auxiliary. Many don't need new media, and there are many tricks for copywriting, art design, customer service and e-commerce operation, and the e-commerce park has recruited one.

An impressive company engaged in furniture sales and recruiting new media operations needs to have experience in e-commerce, while my experience in e-commerce operation is limited to micro-stores, without the experience of Taobao, JD.COM and Tmall, and my experience in operating e-commerce in the official WeChat account is slightly insufficient. From the conversation with the personnel manager, I noticed doubts about my professional skills. So naturally I didn't get a job opportunity.

There is also a company that makes online video tools and recruits copywriters. Recruiting people after 1995 was a great blow, and I was much bigger. The personnel manager on the other end of the phone politely refused my interview request.

Finally, I put a lifeline to find a job on a well-known local recruitment website in Heze to enrich my resume, because submitting my resume is still the most time-saving way to find a job. I got an interview opportunity for new media operation by submitting my resume. The salary is 3.5K-5K, half less than that of Shenzhen.

This company is an international early education company. On the recruitment website, I noticed that from July 23rd to August 2nd today, 23 people have applied for this position. It seems that many colleagues who are doing new media operations in Heze are eyeing this position. During the interview, the conversation was not bad. I thought it should pass, but the result was not satisfactory. The marketing director emphasized the art foundation twice, but my art foundation is not weak, and it is at an average level. As a result, I failed the interview. I think the reason is that my artistic skills can't meet their requirements, so they chose to wait and see and continue to look for more suitable people.

The above is my experience of going back and forth to my hometown for half a month to find a job. The reason why I didn't find a suitable job soon, I analyzed the following reasons:

1, older. After the age of 30, I have entered a quasi-middle-aged era. Many personnel departments in the company require me to be under 30, because under 30, I will have more energy and time to adapt to staying up late and working overtime, which is more in line with the recruitment needs of Internet companies.

2、? Professional skills are not convincing enough. Engaged in new media work in Shenzhen for 3 years, responsible for operation, copywriting, event planning, etc. Among these skills, there are only some achievements in copywriting. A single article with a reading of 400,000+attracted the attention of many fans, but unfortunately I have not been able to concentrate on this aspect.

3、? Weak additional skills. In small cities, there are more small companies and startups. They require talents to have comprehensive skills, and professional skills are indispensable. The remaining skills, such as operation, are very common in small companies, not only for operation, but also for copywriting and even art design.

4、? There is little demand in small cities. Although Heze has developed well recently, Internet companies still can't catch up with first-and second-tier cities. In Shenzhen, job hunting is done by submitting resumes, but in China, it is even more necessary to go offline. And the demand is small. For example, I searched for new media operations on a recruitment website, and only three companies in Heze have this demand.

Among the above three reasons, I think age is the biggest reason, because at the age of 30, more people should take up management positions or have core vocational skills. Like me, it will be difficult to find a job without strong work experience and skill support. Only in this way is the only way out, so that they will not be confused, anxious and embarrassed at the watershed of 30 years old.

I don't regret quitting my salary of 7K in Shenzhen, because it will definitely be difficult to start in my hometown in the future, but after I set my goals, I will always find a place to prove my value.
