In addition, a number of new joint-stock projects have been built by attracting foreign investment, mainly including cooperation with the United States to build the largest Waldo original breeding pig farm in South China, 2,000 beef cattle export registered farms, rubber centralized processing plant with an annual output of 6,543,800 tons, pineapple juice concentration plant with an annual output of 6,543,800 tons, organic bio-fertilizer plant with an annual output of 50,000 tons, alcohol plant with an annual output of 30,000 tons and Zhanjiang Tang Yan dairy factory with an annual output of 30,000 tons.

Sammul Chan said that in the next step, Zhanjiang Land Reclamation will accelerate the pace of attracting investment mainly through "one platform and three ways". One platform is "Guangdong Zhanjiang Cross-Strait Agricultural Cooperation Experimental Zone". In 2006, with the approval of the Taiwan Province Affairs Office of the State Council, the Ministry of Commerce and the Guangdong Provincial Government, the "Guangdong Zhanjiang Cross-Strait Agricultural Cooperation Experimental Zone" was officially listed in Huguang Farm in the reclamation area. We should seize this great opportunity, strive for the strong support of the relevant departments of provinces and cities and the Provincial Agricultural Reclamation Bureau, and build Zhanjiang Agricultural Reclamation into an important sector and growth pole for attracting investment in Zhanjiang. At present, the north core area of Huguang Farm Experimental Zone has a planned total area of 32,000 mu. There are three ways to attract investment: one is to attract funds with funds. We are prepared to further concentrate the financial resources of the reclamation area, and at an appropriate time, under the premise of maintaining the industrial control right of the reclamation area, we will continue to attract all kinds of folk and social capital by means of incremental raising and share transfer, and at the same time strengthen the advantageous and characteristic industries of the reclamation area. The second is to attract funds from the land. The land area of Zhanjiang Agricultural Reclamation accounts for nearly one tenth of the total land area of the city and is an important part of the total assets of agricultural reclamation. We will continue to establish specialized and large-scale production bases in suburbs through leasing and share transfer to maximize the benefits of land reclamation. The third is to attract funds with property rights. At present, there are many factories in Zhanjiang Agricultural Reclamation, all of which are purely state-owned. These factories have large total assets, good asset quality, promising development prospects and favorable conditions for attracting investment. We will continue to create conditions for the introduction of powerful and reputable listed companies, private enterprises, foreign businessmen and enterprise employees, and jointly contribute to the operation.
