Jiusuo Town is located on the southwest coast of Ledong County and is one of the more economically and culturally developed towns in the county.

The town has 24 administrative villages (including 3 villages of the Li ethnic group), with a total population of 70,096 (including 5,467 Li ethnic groups). The town covers an area of ??248.6 square kilometers and has a cultivated land area of ??95,910 acres (including 50,165 acres of paddy fields and 47,745 acres of dry land).
