Where is Chilechuan?

Chilechuan is a place name. According to experts' interpretation, opinions vary.

The first one is that it is in Shuozhou and Ningwu, Shanxi.

The second view is in Yinshan area of Inner Mongolia, including the Dahe River Basin in Hohhot and the Kundulun River Basin in Baotou.

The third view is that in today's Tumochuan Plain in Inner Mongolia, most Tuyouqi in Baotou and a few Tuzuoqi in Hohhot are reviving Chilechuan culture. Today, there are Chilechuan Street and Tumote Zuo Qi in Saihan District of Hohhot.

Source of Chilechuan

1, "Chilechuan" was originally the name of the Chilechuan tribe in the Southern and Northern Dynasties. This title was not officially recognized by the Northern Wei Dynasty, but was limited to the tribe's "self-assertion" of the place of residence. Therefore, Shu Wei and Bei Shi still use the official titles of the Northern Wei Dynasty when talking about the place of residence in Chile.

2. The original "Chilechuan" may just be the name of a tribe in Gaoche (Chilechuan). Later, with the popularity of Chilean songs, its name gradually became known, and it became famous in China in the middle and late Northern Dynasties. If so, the song of Chile must come from this tribe.

For Chilechuan, these two possibilities exist simultaneously. Because of this, Chilechuan is confused in the cognition of later generations, and I don't know where it is.
