What processes and raw materials are needed to make perfume?

The process of mass production of perfume by enterprises is as follows:

1. Pretreatment: The raw materials used to make perfume must be pure and free of impurities, so it should be pretreated before use to ensure the high quality of the product.

2. Mixing: put the raw materials for making perfume into a specified container according to a certain proportion, and stir and mix for a period of time to make the impurities in the essence fully precipitate and improve the clarity of the finished product.

3. Aging: Put the prepared perfume into a closed container with a safety valve for physical or chemical aging to make the perfume smell more mellow. The time required for aging depends on factors such as production conditions.

4. Freezing: Perfume will become translucent or foggy when it meets low temperature. After heating, it will not be clarified, and it has been turbid. Therefore, after the perfume is frozen and filtered, there will be no fog and turbidity when it encounters a low temperature environment in the future.

5. Filtration: after aging and freezing, some insoluble substances are precipitated, which can be removed by filter press with the help of filter AIDS such as diatomite to ensure its transparency and clarity.

6. Color matching: After the filtration process, a small amount of perfume will be lost by the filter aid, so it needs to be compared with the standard sample before color matching.

7. Inspection of finished products: colorimetry, specific gravity and refractive index are measured by instruments, and alcohol content is measured by conventional methods.

8, bottling: when bottling, leave some gaps at the bottleneck to prevent the solution in the bottle from being heated and expanded during storage and breaking the bottle.

The main raw materials are alcohol, essence and pure water, and spices are divided into natural spices and artificial spices.

Natural raw materials are substances that are more concentrated than raw materials obtained by physical separation from plant or animal raw materials. The purer the extracted raw materials, the more expensive they are. Artificial perfume, usually made of petroleum or turpentine, is obtained by chemical reaction or artificial synthesis. Because artificial spices are more economical and cheaper than natural spices, artificial spices are more widely used.
