Formerly known as "Jiangxi Construction Engineering Technical School", the College was established in 1978 with the approval of the provincial government. 1985, with the approval of the provincial government, Jiangxi Construction Workers Secondary School (now Jiangxi Construction Engineering Group Adult Secondary School) was established; 1993 was awarded "provincial key technical school" by Jiangxi provincial government; 1998 was awarded "National Key Technical School" by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security; In 2000, it was approved as "Senior Technical School" by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.
