One. Underground (short for underground)

Unigraphics is a set of 3D parametric software which integrates CAD, CAM and CAE functions developed by Unigraphics Solution Company of the United States. It is the most advanced high-end software for computer-aided design, analysis and manufacturing, and is applied to aviation, aerospace, automobiles, ships, general machinery and electronics. UG software is in a leading position in the field of CAM, produced by McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Company, and is the first choice programming tool for NC machining of aircraft parts.

Two. Katia

Catia is a product launched by Dassault France. Catia is adopted in the development and design of Phantom fighter, Boeing 737 and 777. CATIA, with its powerful surface modeling function, ranks among all CAD 3D softwares, and is widely used by domestic aerospace enterprises and scientific research institutes, gradually replacing UG as the first choice for complex surface design. CATIA has strong programming ability, which can meet the requirements of NC machining of complex parts. In some fields, CATIA design modeling and UG programming are used together.

Three. Pro/E

The software developed by American PTC (Parametric Technology Co., Ltd.) is the most popular 3D CAD/CAM system in the world. Widely used in electronics, machinery, molds, industrial design and toys and other civil industries. It has many functions, such as part design, product assembly, mold development, NC machining, modeling design and so on. Pro/E is widely used in southern enterprises in China. It is a common practice to use PRO-E in design modeling and MASTERCAM and CIMATRON in programming.

Six. FeatureCAM
