What universities are there in Yanjiao, Beijing?

At present, there are eight universities in Yanjiao: China Academy of Social Sciences, Yanjiao Campus of Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing Vocational College of Social Management, Management Cadre College of Ministry of Communications, Institute of Disaster Prevention and Technology, North China Institute of Science and Technology, Yanjing Institute of Technology and Beijing Vocational College of Economics and Technology.

1. China Academy of Social Sciences is a research university approved by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Ministry of Education. Based on the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, it was founded by integrating the undergraduate education and some graduate education resources of China Youth University for Politics to cultivate top talents in the humanities and social sciences. It is a public full-time ordinary college. The level of running a school includes undergraduate, master and doctor. Headquartered in Fangshan District Higher Education Park, Beijing, the campuses under construction are Yanjiao Campus and Qingdao Campus.

2. Yanjiao Campus of the Central Academy of Fine Arts covers an area of 205 mu with a building area of 68,000 square meters, which is an integral part of the overall school-running pattern of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. It is the only comprehensive full-time undergraduate college in China that focuses on higher education in disaster prevention and mitigation and has a complete range of disciplines.

North China Institute of Science and Technology is affiliated to state administration of work safety, and its predecessor was Beijing Coal Management Cadre College Branch invested by former Ministry of Coal Industry 1984.
