Development of Shanghai Sunshine Community Youth Affairs Center

By 20 13, Sunshine Center will have 14 workstations in all districts (counties) (except Pudong, Fengxian and Songjiang) and more than 160 workstations at the street (town) level, with 420 social workers and 40 trainee social workers.

In order to implement the overall plan of "building a crime prevention and reduction system" of Shanghai Municipal Committee, Shanghai Sunshine Community Youth Affairs Center, under the unified leadership of the Political and Legal Committee of the Municipal Committee, the Municipal Comprehensive Management Office and the Communist Youth League Committee, and under the careful guidance of the Municipal Community Youth Affairs Office, follows the overall goals of "government-led promotion, independent operation of associations, multi-party participation of society" and "optimizing management, improving practice, expanding fields and pursuing Excellence", and uses socialized management ideas and operation means.

Since its establishment, Sunshine Center has taken the mission of "renewing inspiration, building harmony, caring for growing teenagers wholeheartedly, and pursuing Excellence professionally", persisted in promoting the construction of social workers in a professional and professional way, and persisted in upgrading social service content in a project-based and socialized mode.
