However, just as I was holding the classified edition of the newspaper every day and desperately looking for a job that suited me, a job advertisement jumped into my eyes. A TV station employs journalists and translators and requires them to be fluent in English and Mandarin. The only thing that makes me hesitate is which position I should choose. Because I wanted to be a reporter since I was a child, but the column of reporters is very clear, and I need one year's work experience. For me, TV news is blank. I have never been exposed to TV. If you apply for this position, you can try, but I can't even convince myself.

As for translation, there is no requirement for work experience. I think if you want to enter the TV industry, the first step is actually how to enter this circle. As for what to do at the beginning, it is not too important. I didn't start as an auditor in an accounting firm. I can find a suitable opportunity to change jobs in the future.

I made the right decision. Two days later, I got a call for an interview. Three days later, I started working in a TV station. Three months later, I decided to jump ship to another TV station. Once my boss interviewed me and asked me why I didn't apply to be a reporter. He said I could see that I had this potential. If he says no, there will be a lot of room for development. However, due to the financial instability of this company, I think I need to make plans for my future. I still work for another biggest TV station in Hong Kong.

It's just that if I hadn't entered the TV circle, I don't think I could have worked in this big TV station at all. Because after coming in, I found that work experience, no matter how long or short, brings you contacts and opportunities.

After working in this TV station for a year, I sometimes feel at a loss. Although I changed from an editor to a TV reporter, because I work in an audience-oriented channel in Taiwan Province Province, China, the daily news reports are always dominated by those negative news from Hong Kong, except deliberately eliminating the mainland accent. At that time, I had just given birth and changed my job, especially to a start-up company, and I was always hesitant. Because of the experience of the first TV station, I didn't deliver food on time after working for three months, and there has been news of its closure, which made me understand that it is really not easy for the new TV station to survive. After all, the TV station I am working for is the largest in China and Hongkong, and it is a listed company, which is much more stable.

Just, if I stay there, how much room for development? To be a man, you should take a long-term view, especially when you have experienced several media, you should think about what you can do.

I hesitated for no more than one night. In this way, I entered Phoenix and became the second reporter.

I think I grew up in the mainland and received a university education in the mainland. In this case, working in such a TV station requires a very good understanding of mainland culture and many backgrounds, which other Hongkong people in China or Taiwan Province people in China can't do.
