How to wear-resistant silk screen printing?

Screen printing to wear resistance, need to start from the following aspects:

Choose the right ink: Wear-resistant ink has good adhesion, wear resistance and chemical resistance. Common wear-resistant inks are:

Alarate: It has good oil resistance, acid and alkali resistance and wear resistance.

Plastic ink: It has good oil resistance, acid and alkali resistance and wear resistance.

UV ink: It has good chemical resistance and weather resistance.

Use a suitable screen: the smaller the aperture of the screen, the thicker the ink layer and the better the wear resistance. However, too small aperture will affect the clarity of printing.

Control printing pressure: too high printing pressure will lead to too thick ink layer, which is not conducive to wear resistance.

Curing treatment: Curing treatment can improve the adhesion and wear resistance of ink. Common curing methods are:

Thermal curing: heating the ink to a certain temperature to cure it.

Chemical curing: mixing ink and curing agent to make it cure.

In practical application, it needs to be selected according to specific needs. For example, if you need to print patterns with high wear resistance, you can choose alarate, plastic ink or UV ink, and use a screen with small aperture and suitable printing pressure. In addition, curing treatment is needed.

The following are some common wear-resistant screen printing processes:

Double screen printing: after printing the first layer of ink, print the second layer of ink. The second layer of ink can choose ink with higher wear resistance, or adopt two-color printing process to make the ink layer thicker.

UV screen printing: UV ink is cured under ultraviolet radiation and has good chemical resistance and weather resistance. Therefore, UV screen printing has good wear resistance.

Alarate screen printing: Alarate has good oil resistance, acid and alkali resistance and wear resistance. Therefore, alarate screen printing also has good wear resistance.
