Can foreigners drive taxis in Beijing?

It's a pity that your father can't work in the taxi industry in Beijing. The first condition for driving a taxi in Beijing is that your father must have an official account in Beijing.

According to Beijing Municipal Transportation Administration and Beijing Taxi Management Regulations, Beijing taxi drivers should meet the following conditions:

(a) with permanent residence in this city, male 60 years old, female under 50 years old, healthy, and have obtained a driver's license for more than 3 years. Tourist bus drivers must also be engaged in driving large and medium-sized buses for more than 3 years;

(2) Abide by laws and regulations;

(three) the business qualification certificate has been revoked, and the validity period must exceed 5 years;

(four) by the municipal administrative department of transportation assessment and obtain a certificate.

Supplementary note: non-Beijing hukou, guaranteed by Beijingers is also not allowed. The existing 12 1 taxi companies in Beijing have no right to recruit foreign taxi drivers by themselves. Taxi driver's license training school does not recruit students from other provinces and cities.
