Construction of New Factory of FAW-GM Haqing Company

It is understood that FAW Harbin Light Industry Co., Ltd., which has a history of automobile production for more than 40 years, has been committed to the production of Jiefang brand light trucks, but the plane layout and process route have limited the cost reduction and productivity improvement of enterprises. As an old industrial base reconstruction project, at the end of May, 2009, the overall relocation and reconstruction project of China FAW Harbin Light Industry Co., Ltd. started construction in Harbin Economic Development Zone Harping Road concentration area.

It is reported that in the whole relocation process, all production lines in the new factory area of FAW Harbin Light Industry Co., Ltd. will be put into trial production step by step, and by the end of May 20 1 1, Harbin Light Industry Co., Ltd. will realize mass production of light trucks. After the relocation, the old factory area of Harbin Light Industry Co., Ltd., which covers an area of 400,000 square meters, will be collected and stored by the Harbin Municipal Government.
