Telling my story about joining TCL

Articles/Handwriting

I have been working at TCL for 12 years, and every detail of my work has accompanied my experience and growth here. I have many stories to tell. I would like to first tell you my story about joining TCL and recall the unforgettable joining experience.

Looking back to October 2003, this was the last month of my study and life in a technical school. On the 20th of this month, TCL came to our school to recruit ("select people"), and in our county There are often promotional banners of "TCL Ace Color TV" on the streets, and there are also large characters "TCL Ace" spray-painted on the cement wall. Everyone thinks that TCL is a big brand. My parents encouraged me to sign up for this recruitment test and try to be hired to work in such a big factory.

The selection time was scheduled to start at nine o'clock in the morning. On that day, I specially put on my newly washed white cloth shoes, put on my school uniform, and stood in the queue to wait for the selection.

The TCL human resources specialist who came to recruit workers was named Lu. She told us that we could call her "Sister Lu", saying that she was the human resources specialist of TCL Lighting and was in charge of recruitment. TCL provided food and accommodation, and food was included. There are also telephones in the dormitory, so you can contact your family at any time (the communication industry was not so developed in 2003, and you basically still relied on writing letters to communicate with your family). Their company also recruits internally, and outstanding employees will have opportunities for internal promotion.

After hearing this, we are even more eager to enter such a large factory.

Next, Sister Lu was about to take the selection test. I saw Sister Lu talking softly to some students as she passed by. Most of these students were taller and stronger. I stood behind and saw I was very excited and hoped that Sister Lu would talk to me when she walked in front of me. When Sister Lu walked in front of me, I was so nervous that I didn’t dare to look at her. I only knew that she stood in front of me and stopped for a while before speaking softly to me. "You stay", I was so happy that I wanted to jump up.

In this way, our preliminary selection is completed. The students who were selected to stay will still remain in the team, while the students who were not selected to stay will silently leave the team. The atmosphere seemed a bit tense.

Sister Lu asked us to regroup and stand and said: "Next, I will conduct the second round of selection. Students who have already applied for ID cards are asked to stay. Those who have not applied for ID cards will wait. Come back after the first round of recruitment, okay?" Half of the students in the team who did not apply for ID cards withdrew. Everyone left reluctantly and begged the principal and Sister Lu to ask if they could apply for temporary ones first, but Sister Lu Saying that this is not possible, we have to recruit people according to regulations.

I am very fortunate that my mother took me to apply for an ID card as early as during the winter vacation, and I passed the second selection test.

The last selection test was the written test. The written test consisted of five questions, including English, Chinese, mathematics, physics and chemistry. They were all junior high school textbook knowledge. I quickly answered the questions and handed in the paper. I successfully passed the initial test, and the last step was the physical examination at the HZ factory in Guangdong.

I went home and packed my luggage. At four o'clock in the afternoon the next day, I said goodbye to my parents, teachers, and classmates. I finally embarked on the road to work in Guangdong. The journey was filled with all kinds of fantasies about factory work and life...

At 4:30 in the morning the next day, our car parked in front of the factory gate. We saw tall factory buildings and rows of dormitories. We remembered what Sister Lu said to us. She said: "Students, this will be your home from now on." Sister Lu placed our luggage and took us to the Center for Disease Control for a physical examination.

Sister Lu taught us to report the company name as "TCLZM" when we went to the window to get the physical examination form. When we went to the window to get the physical examination form, we were all proud to say: "We are from TCLZM."

Two students failed the physical examination because they were found to be carrying the hepatitis B virus and were taken back to school by the teacher. Everyone felt sorry for them but also happy that they could pass.

When we returned to the assigned dormitory, we tidied and cleaned the dormitory. We also elected a dormitory leader to clean the dormitory every day, because Sister Lu said that the company's administrative department would also come regularly to inspect the sanitation of the dormitory. , it feels like dormitory management in school.

Next we will participate in the two-day induction training. Sister Lu told us that by filling out this "Personnel Registration Form" we will be officially admitted, and the training will also count as our attendance. This made us all very happy. It turns out that training will count as salary.

Sister Lu took us to the canteen to eat and told us that we had to queue up to get the food. We had to get the rice and soup ourselves. We could get as much as we could eat. Don’t waste it. Put away all your leftover food. When entering the factory at work, you must wear work clothes and a factory badge, otherwise the security guards will not let you in. You must come to work on time, don't be late, leave early, or be absent from work. You must walk within the pedestrian lane when entering the factory area, and you must change into work shoes when entering the workshop. This is the most basic factory rule.

We also received training on production safety and energy-saving lamp production knowledge.

On the afternoon of the second day of training, because the company needed cheerleaders for the football match of the group sports meeting, Sister Lu asked us who wanted to go. We all raised our hands and said we wanted to go, and we sat in the factory car going to the stadium. We were all discussing, it turns out that TCL is so good, training counts as our attendance, they will also hold sports meetings, and we will also participate in the future. When we shout for cheers later, we should shout like this: "Come on TCL!" The leader of the team The leader is Section Chief Guan of the Administration Department. He laughed when he heard our discussion, "Haha, they are all from TCL. Who are you cheering for?"

It turns out that we are a company under the TCL Group. TCLZM, only then did we realize: TCL is a very big company, and lighting is just one of them. We are so lucky to be hired by such a big company, so we must work here well, and we must not let down our parents and Principal’s expectations. `

I don’t remember the win or loss of the game that day, but I remember that TCL has many companies, such as Ace Color TV, Communications, etc. It was already six o'clock in the evening when we came back, and the company's canteen still left food for us, which really touched us.

After receiving the training, we were assigned to various workshops. I was assigned to the coil group in the energy-saving lamp workshop. I learned to use a winding machine to wind coils, use a small tin furnace to tin the coils, and use 502 glue and epoxy. Resin glue glues the coils...

The above are my memories of my experience in joining TCLZM. Later, I was transferred to various positions in various departments through internal recruitment, and I learned many things here that I could not learn in school ( Computer operation, life, workplace experience), although it is very hard, TCL has given me a different kind of warmth, allowing me to practice and grow, allowing me to have such a stable job, which can support my family and support myself. . Thanks TCLZM!
