Yulin Agricultural School was established in April, 1928. Its predecessor was the public industrial vocational school in northern Shaanxi and the industrial technical school in Yulin, Shaanxi. In June, it was transformed into Shaanxi Yulin Agricultural School, 1953. In May 2009, with the approval of the Provincial Department of Education, the brand of Yulin Technical School was added. It is now held by Yulin City, and Yulin Agriculture Bureau is responsible for it.
