First of all, talk about portable boxes. Of the three machines, I feel that Fujikura 60S is the best portable machine with a box, followed by Furukawa S 178A, and finally Sumitomo Type-39, because only Fujikura is vertical in design, that is to say, when carrying boxes, the machines in the boxes are placed flat on them.
You can pick up the box and leave, put it down and start to operate. Furukawa and Sumitomo's boxes are horizontal, and the machines inside are up. Of the three machines, only Fujikura 60S is equipped with a detachable workbench, which is the dark part of the top cover of the portable box. After unscrewing the screws on the top cover, you can remove the workbench, then put the welder on the workbench, and then screw the screws on the back of the workbench, so that the workbench and welder become a whole. This design can also come in handy in some special working environments. Compared with the hardness of portable boxes, Fujikura is the best. The box is placed on the ground and people can stand on it, which is related to its detachable workbench. After all, it is equivalent to a double cover. After the box of Guhe S 178A is leveled, it is ok to sit on it as a stool to rest, and the deformation of the box is relatively small. Sumitomo 39' s portable box is made of soft materials, and it will deform when sitting on it. It is not recommended to sit on the box and rest. Both Fujikura 60S and Sumitomo Type-39 portable boxes are equipped with box locks. When the machine is not in use, the box can be locked to prevent the welder and accessories in the box from being tampered with. The box of Furukawa S 178A has only one keyhole, so it needs to buy a small lock to realize this function, which is not very humanized. On the left side of the portable box of Fujikura 60S is a space for placing power cords, auxiliary tools and alcohol cotton bottles, with a welding machine in the middle and a slot for placing adapters, batteries and cutting knives on the right. In the middle of Sumitomo Type-39' s portable box is the position where the welder and adapter are placed, and there is a space of the same size on both sides for placing power cords, auxiliary tools, optical fiber cutters, alcohol cotton bottles and other things, which is large enough; On the left side of the portable box of Guhe S 178A, there is a welding machine with two slots for putting batteries. There are positions for power cord, auxiliary tools, optical fiber cutter and alcohol cotton bottle on the right, but the depth is not enough. After the optical fiber cutter, alcohol cotton bottle, optical fiber stripper and leather tiger were put in my machine, there was no place to put the power cord, adapter and battery charger, so we had to put them in.
Then, talk about the fiber cutter. Fujikura 60S, Sumitomo 39 and Furukawa S 178A are equipped with optical fiber cutters, namely Fujikura CT-30, Sumitomo FC-6S and Furukawa S325A. Some dealers will also equip Fujikura 60S with Fujikura CT- 10 optical fiber cutters. First of all, according to personal experience, it is strongly recommended not to buy Fujikura CT- 10 optical fiber cutter, which is not easy to use. It is not a rotatable circular blade, so there are few available cutting surfaces, and the optical fiber often breaks during use. Fujikura CT-30 optical fiber cutter belongs to semi-automatic cutter. Push the cutting module back by hand, put the optical fiber away, and then press the upper cover, and the cutting module will automatically slide to cut, which is convenient to use. However, the operation of adjusting the cutter surface is troublesome, so we can only remove the side plate to operate. Sumitomo FC-6S optical fiber cutter is a fully manual cutter. It has a simple structure. Although the cutting module needs to be returned and pushed manually, it is also easy to operate. The adjustment of cutter surface and height can also be carried out directly without disassembling the shell, which is convenient for maintenance. It is precisely because of this feature that Sumitomo FC-6S paper cutter has become the object of imitation and counterfeiting in China, so it must be carefully identified when buying, and do not buy high imitation fakes. Valley and S325A optical fiber cutters are quite different from the above two, and their structures and operation methods are different from the above two, showing the exquisite design of Valley and Electric, but the author does not agree with this design. Its blade is on the left side of the machine body, that is to say, it feels contrary to our common cutters. People often turn the cutters upside down when using them, so that the upper cover is opened towards the operator. After placing the optical fiber, pressing the cut button will automatically cut it. When the button is released, the cutting blade will automatically return to its original position, and the cut waste optical fiber will automatically enter the waste optical fiber collection box through the rubber roller. The design of this kind of cutting knife is complicated, which is different from the common cutting knife used now. It is recommended that people who are used to using CT-30 or FC-6S knives try S325A first, and then buy it when they feel comfortable. After all, what they are used to will be more efficient. Also, let's talk about the 24 facets of the so-called Guhe S325A optical fiber cutting machine. This is just a means of commercial propaganda. Furukawa Electric printed 24 numbers on its cutting blade, which means 24 facets. Hehe ~ I see, any tool can have 24 facets. When changing facets, turn to the middle of 1 and 2, and then turn to 2 after use. Among the three cutters, the author recommends Sumitomo FC-6S. This cutting machine has simple structure, convenient maintenance, much lower price than the other two models, and good cost performance.
Then, talk about the most concerned part, the main machine and performance of the welding machine. From the aspect of appearance protection, the most important thing is rubber shock pad, and Guhe S 178A is the best. Rubber pads with large corners can protect the machine to the maximum extent when it accidentally falls, followed by Fujikura 60S, with rubber protection pads in every corner, and Sumitomo Type-39 at last. Except for four rubber pads, there is no rubber protective pad in the whole fuselage. In the windproof part, Fujikura 60S and Furukawa S 178A are made of metal, which is not easy to deform, while Sumitomo Type-39 is made of engineering plastic. After placing the optical fiber, you will find that the optical fiber cores on the left and right sides will move up and down, because the windshield has been deformed and the position of the reflector installed on the windshield has also changed. Fuselage buttons, Fujikura 60S uses silicone buttons, Sumitomo Type-39 and Furukawa S 178A use film buttons. The V-shaped groove of Fujikura 60S is fully V-shaped, which is convenient for optical fiber placement. Sumitomo -39 and Furukawa S 178A are both V-shaped, and the other parts are flat. In addition, it is particularly important to mention that Sumitomo Type-39 has a relatively high limit groove on the outside of the optical fiber fixture. This thing has advantages and disadvantages. The advantage is that after the optical fiber is put away, it is not necessary to adjust the position, and the wind shield directly covers it, so it will definitely not press the optical fiber. However, Fujikura 60S and Furukawa S 178A sometimes press the optical fiber, especially when pressing the tail fiber, which will cause the motor to fail to move forward. The disadvantage is that when you are used to Fujikura 60S and Furukawa S 178A, you will find that when placing optical fibers, especially the right optical fiber (because the optical fiber cutter is usually placed on the right side of the machine, the right optical fiber will be cut and put into the machine in reverse) will be affected by the limit groove, and the time for putting the optical fiber in will be a little later. As for the auxiliary lighting, Fujikura 60S and Sumitomo Type-39 are both good, but the lighting of Furukawa S 178A is not bright enough, so it is not convenient to observe without headlights. In the electrode rod part, when replacing the electrode rod of Fujikura 60S, you need to use a small Phillips screwdriver to remove the electrode rod, while Sumitomo Type-39 and Furukawa S 178A can directly remove the electrode rod for replacement, which is more convenient. The electrode rods of Fujikura 60S and Furukawa S 178A are equipped with limit clamps. As long as the electrode rod is put into the clamp and fixed, the electrode rod will not be installed in place. Sumitomo Type-39 should pay attention to the installation position when replacing the electrode rods, otherwise the tip distance between the two electrode rods will be too far, which will affect the welding effect and even lead to welding failure. As for the battery pack, Fujikura 60S uses 4000mAh Ni-MH rechargeable battery, Sumitomo Type-39 uses 9000mAh Ni-MH rechargeable battery, and Furukawa S 178A uses two 2600mAh Li-ion rechargeable batteries. Furukawa S 178A is the best battery part, which adopts lithium-ion battery, and has no memory effect and fast charging speed. And only one battery can be installed for welding. If one battery is charged and then used alternately, it can work continuously for 24 hours. Sumitomo Type-39 has a large battery capacity, which can last longer than Fujikura's 60S. However, the batteries of these two machines are all nickel-hydrogen batteries, which have memory effect. It is best to charge the battery as much as possible when using it. If you can't guarantee to run out of batteries every time, that's better. In the heating furnace part, the heating furnace cover of Fujikura 60S is integrated, that is to say, the heating furnace can be turned on with one hand. Sumitomo Type-39 heating furnace is two-stage, and the left and right sides need to be turned on twice respectively. Furukawa S 178A is also two-stage, and the left and right pliers are opened independently.
Moreover, Guhe S 178A also has a plastic cover plate, which means it takes three steps to turn on the heater with one hand. It is said in the industry that the heating furnace of Fujikura 60S is prone to failure, and the author has also been confirmed by the maintenance personnel of optical fiber welding machine. During the use of Fujikura 60S, another machine failed in the heating furnace. I don't know what the probability is. If you really win the prize, the cost of replacing a heating stove is about 3,000 yuan. Sumitomo Type-39 has an absolute advantage in heating speed, and the continuous heating of Furukawa S 178A is also good, but the operator needs to be skilled and can take out the heated hot melt tube in time, otherwise the hot melt tube will be heated in the heating furnace all the time, which will lead to the melting of the hot melt tube and damage the heating furnace. Unskilled operators are not advised to turn on the continuous heating function, and the heating speed of Fujikura 60S is also very fast. Adjust the heating time by yourself. In optical fiber welding, all three machines are imported, and the welding quality is very good. Furukawa S 178A has the fastest fiber arrangement and fusion speed, followed by Fujikura 60S and Sumitomo Type-39. Sumitomo's main fiber advances slowly, which affects the whole fusion speed. Although Sumitomo Type-39' s fusion speed is not fast, the quality of fused optical fiber is very stable. Many old masters say that the optical fiber received by Sumitomo's welding machine will be fine as long as the machine does not alarm and does not need to be tested. This is true not only for Sumitomo 39, but also for Sumitomo 37, except that Sumitomo 39 requires higher fiber preparation, the end face must be neat and the fiber core must be clean. In the actual use of the other two machines, Fujikura 60S had a fused fiber core that was wrong, but the machine still didn't give an alarm. The operator needs to be careful and observe carefully with the naked eye, and find that the fiber core of the optical fiber has a wrong core. Although the machine did not give an alarm, it must be reconnected. However, the Fujikura 60S has relatively low requirements on the end face, and the machine can continue to guarantee the quality even if the end face is not neat or the fiber is not very clean. Guhe S 178A sometimes has a good end face, but the connection quality is not good, but all the machines call the police in time and ask for reconnection. The author estimates that the ancient river S 178A has high requirements for the environment, which is easy to happen when there is much dust in the environment. Furukawa S 178A also has lower requirements for end face and cleanliness than Sumitomo, and is basically the same as Fujikura 60S. Here, we need to pay attention to a problem. When Sumitomo Type-39 has turned on the function of "automatically start welding after closing the windshield", be sure to press the reset button when closing the windshield when no optical fiber is placed in the machine. Close the windshield after placing the optical fiber, and be sure to observe whether the fiber cores on both sides are positioned correctly. If the deviation is too large, the windshield should be opened in time to reposition or clean the V-shaped groove, otherwise the motor may not return, and the Fujikura 60 s and Fujikura 60S may be damaged. In the display part, Fujikura 60S and Sumitomo Type-39 are both reversible display screens, but the difference is that the display frame of Fujikura 60S is metal, surrounded by a rubber sheath and built-in gravity sensing, which can automatically change the viewing angle. Moreover, an adjustment button is set separately on the left side of the screen, which is more convenient for operators to adjust parameters. Sumitomo Type-39 is made of plastic and has no rubber sheath. There are no buttons and gravity sensing, so you need to manually switch to the setting menu through the buttons on the fuselage. The display screen of Guhe S 178A is fixed on the machine, and the screen is relatively small, but it is also convenient to observe in practical use. The screen resolution of these three machines is not very high, so expensive machines are reluctant to install higher resolution display screens. By the way, I despise Japanese companies. Fujikura 60S and Furukawa S 178A have higher resolution and finer images. Sumitomo Type-39' s display is more grainy.
