Kunyang Town, Jinning County, Kunming City, Yunnan Province, is located on the south bank of the beautiful Dianchi Lake. It belongs to the township where the county seat is located and is the political, economic and cultural center of the county seat. Located in the north-central part of the county, 62 kilometers away from the urban area. It borders Garlic Township and Dianchi Lake in the east, Baofeng Town in the south, Erjie Township in the west and Haikou Town in Xishan District in the north. Luo Kun Highway, Anjin Highway, Kunyu Highway and Kunyu Railway pass through the territory. Kunyu Railway has two railway stations in Zhong Yi Village and Chuying Village, with convenient transportation and communication. Dianchi Lake in the town is 28.9 kilometers along the lake line, and there are more than 2,000 mu of aquaculture along the coast of Dianchi Lake. The town has 46 13 hectares of woodland, with a forest coverage rate of 38.5%.
