Flue-cured tobacco is a special cash crop for leaves and the main raw material of cigarettes. The quality of tobacco leaves is closely related to the quality and economic benefits of cigarettes. 1. Yunnan ecological environment and flue-cured tobacco planting layout

Yunnan is located in the monsoon climate zone of low latitude plateau, with complex terrain environment, obvious three-dimensional climate, diverse climate types and different ecological types. It has the unique climatic characteristics of different types of monsoon climate in low latitude plateau and regional differences in climate, with obvious vertical variation, small annual temperature difference, large daily temperature difference, abundant precipitation and clear wet and dry. These climatic characteristics have created Yunnan's unique agricultural ecological environment such as geography, soil and climate, which is beneficial to the growth and development of flue-cured tobacco and the formation of tobacco quality. This advantage enables tobacco varieties from many countries and places in the world to find suitable areas in Yunnan, which is conducive to the breeding, introduction, screening and utilization of improved tobacco varieties in Yunnan.

With a long history and rich experience, Yunnan is the largest tobacco-producing area in China. The annual planting area and tobacco yield rank first in China, and the produced tobacco leaves are of good quality and mellow aroma. Tobacco production covers all areas of the province. In 2004, Kunming, Yuxi, Qujing, Chuxiong, Dali, Zhaotong, Honghe, Wenshan, Baoshan, Lijiang, Lincang and Simao were 12 municipal units and 9 10 tobacco-growing counties, covering an area of 335,300 hectares, including18000 above sea level. The purchase volume of tobacco leaves is 1238730 tons, of which the top tobacco rate reaches 45.72% and the middle tobacco rate reaches 43.79%. Faced with such a superior agricultural ecological environment and a strong tobacco planting battle, how to make full use of the ecological resources of our province and give full play to the potential of improving the yield and quality of excellent varieties in our province is an urgent problem to be solved to improve the quality of tobacco leaves and enrich the raw materials of cigarettes.

2. Yunnan flue-cured tobacco varieties and their planting conditions.

Excellent varieties are the important means of production to develop flue-cured tobacco production, the internal factor to obtain high-quality tobacco leaves, and the more economical and effective measures to increase production, quality and income. Cigarette production needs many regions, varieties and styles of cigarette raw materials, and different flue-cured tobacco varieties have different adaptability to different ecological regions. The change of ecological conditions has great influence on the quality of different flue-cured tobacco varieties. Yunnan, with its vast territory and different climate, has unique advantages and conditions for producing different styles of tobacco leaves. Therefore, in flue-cured tobacco production, reasonable variety layout and regional production are to make full use of Yunnan varieties and natural resources, enrich cigarette raw materials, improve tobacco quality and develop steadily. With the deepening of Yunnan tobacco variety breeding and variety regional distribution research, new varieties of flue-cured tobacco are emerging, the variety layout is becoming more and more reasonable, the variety is single and the structure is unbalanced, and the phenomenon that the variety layout and planting can not meet the demand of cigarette industry for raw material diversity has been alleviated. In recent years, the main flue-cured tobacco varieties planted in Yunnan are K346, G28, Honghuadajinyuan, NC82, V2, Yunyan 3 17, Yunyan 85, Yunyan 87, RG1,RG 17 and. In 2004, the planting area of flue-cured tobacco in Yunnan reached 335,300 hectares, of which K326 varieties accounted for 34.50%, Yunyan 85 accounted for 34.20%, Yunyan 87 accounted for 2 1.40%, Honghuadajinyuan accounted for 7.20%, V2 accounted for 1.39% and K346 accounted for 0.70. The research shows that flue-cured tobacco varieties have their specific adaptation areas and utilization values. As long as their characteristics are combined with local favorable ecological conditions and rationally distributed and utilized, their yield and quality improvement effects can be fully exerted. Evaluation of Ecological Adaptability of Yunnan Flue-cured Tobacco Varieties According to the study on the regional field layout of Yunnan Flue-cured Tobacco Varieties, the ecological adaptability of Yunnan 1 1 main varieties is K326򟻩- Yunyan 87- Yunyan 85-G28-K346-V2. The ecological adaptability of each variety is as follows:

1.K326: This variety of tobacco plants has good growth, high fertilizer demand, high yield, excellent tobacco yield and index, great variety effect, small variance and variation between varieties and locations, and strong variety adaptability, and is suitable for planting in most tobacco-growing areas such as northeast Yunnan, central Yunnan, west Yunnan and southeast Yunnan.

2. Yunyan 87: This variety has a tower shape, good agronomic traits, high fertilizer tolerance, strong stress resistance, high yield and index, superior tobacco yield and variety effect, small variance and variation of variety-location interaction, and strong adaptability. It can be planted in most tobacco-growing areas such as southeastern Yunnan, central Yunnan, western Yunnan and northeastern Yunnan.

Spett G28: This variety has a tower shape, good agronomic characters, moderate fertilizer requirement, strong stress resistance, medium yield, high first-class tobacco rate and index, small variety effect, small variance and variation in the interaction between varieties and locations, and strong adaptability. Suitable for planting in Longyang District, Wuding, Yuanmou, Eryuan, Lijiang, Wenshan, Xiangyun, Shilin and Xuanwei of Baoshan City.

4. Yunyan 85: This variety has good plant type and agronomic characters, high fertilizer tolerance, strong stress resistance, high yield, high index, high quality tobacco rate and variety effect, large variance of variety and place interaction, moderate variation and strong adaptability. Located in Honghe and Wenshan in the southeast of Yunnan, Yuxi, Kunming and Chuxiong in the middle of Yunnan, Dali, Lijiang and Baoshan in the west of Yunnan, and Qujing and Baoshan in the northeast of Yunnan.

5. 6.NC 82: Co., Ltd. is cylindrical in shape, with good growth and high-grade smoke. The yield and yield index of this variety are low, the variety effect is small, the variance and variability of the interaction between varieties and locations are large, and the adaptability of varieties is weak. Suitable for planting in Chuxiong, Shuangbai, Wuding, Shilin, Lijiang, Malong, Xuanwei, Lufeng, Yuanmou, Eryuan, Yongping, Midu, Songming, Yunxian, Lvliang, Fuyuan, Zhanyi, Qiubei, Zhaoyang District of Zhaotong and Ludian.

8. Yunyan 3 17: This variety is cylindrical, which is more tolerant to fertilizer, with low yield, index and variety effect, low excellent tobacco rate, large coefficient of variation and variance of interaction, and low variety adaptability. Applicable to Yuanmou, Xiangyun, Midu, Binchuan, Nanjian, Fengqing, Malipo, Eshan, Huaning, Xinping, Malong and Xuanwei.

1 1.K346: Plant-shaped tower type, low yield, index and high-quality tobacco rate, high variance and variation of variety-site interaction and variety effect, strong variety adaptability, suitable for planting in Longyang District, Lufeng, Wuding, Eryuan, Xiangyun, Nanjian, Guangnan, Zhaoyang District, Shilin and Zhaotong City.

Fourthly, the division of suitable planting areas for main flue-cured tobacco varieties in Yunnan.

Tobacco has wide adaptability and is quite sensitive to the environment. The study on the regional distribution of tobacco varieties in Yunnan shows that there are significant differences in variety effect, location effect and interaction effect between variety and location. It shows that although the experimental sites belong to Yunnan tobacco-growing areas, there are differences in ecological conditions such as soil type, farming system, overall production management level and meteorological conditions among the experimental sites, so it is necessary to divide the experimental sites of the tested varieties into ecologically similar areas and suitable planting areas.

(1) Division of suitable planting areas for main flue-cured tobacco varieties in Yunnan.

According to the cluster analysis of the yield and quality of tobacco varieties in Yunnan Province, the tested areas of 1 1 flue-cured tobacco varieties in Yunnan Province were divided into six similar areas. The average yield and yield index of the same variety in different pilot areas reflect the overall production level, and the indexes of superior tobacco rate, total sugar, reducing sugar and nicotine reflect the quality of tobacco leaves. According to the requirements of high-quality tobacco leaves for quality and yield, the quality components of tobacco leaves in similar areas are calculated and the quality and yield characteristics of tobacco leaves in similar areas are comprehensively evaluated. Through the analysis of the yield and quality composition and ecological conditions of six similar areas of 1 1 variety, it can be known that the yield and quality of tobacco leaves in similar areas are obviously different, and the yield and quality of tobacco leaves in different similar areas of the same variety are similar, that is, the overall production level and yield and quality of tobacco leaves are obviously different, and the yield and quality characteristics of different similar areas are different, and their adaptability is also different. On this basis, the six similar areas of the tested varieties were divided into four suitable planting areas.

(1) Honghuadajinyuan:

First-class suitable planting areas: including Shuangbai, Yuanmou, Dayao, Xiangyun, Binchuan, Midu, Nanjian, Jinning, Lijiang, Yongsheng, Malong, Xuanwei, Malipo, Jiangchuan, Tonghai and Chengjiang. The yield and index of tobacco leaves in this planting area are moderate, the chemical composition of tobacco leaves is coordinated and the quality is good.

Secondary suitable planting areas: including Tengchong, Longyang District of Baoshan City, Wuding, Eryuan, Yongping, Shilin, Songming, Luquan, Yiliang, Qilin District of Qujing City, Qiubei, Wenshan County, Huaning, Xinping, Hongta District of Yuxi City and Zhaoyang District of Zhaotong City. The quality of tobacco leaves in this planting area is good, the chemical composition is coordinated, and the yield and index are low.

Three-level suitable planting areas: including Chuxiong, Yao 'an, Dali, Eshan, Yimen and Yuanjiang counties. The yield and index of tobacco leaves in this planting area are high and the alkali content is low.

Four suitable planting areas: Lufeng, Shizong, Luliang, Yanshan, Maguan, Weishan, Fuyuan, Xichou, Guangnan, Yunxian and Fengqing. The tobacco yield, sugar and nicotine in this planting area are low.

(2)K326:

First-class suitable planting areas: including Shuangbai, Xiangyun, Binchuan, Xuanwei, Xichou, Chengjiang, Jiangchuan, Tonghai, Eshan, Longyang District of Baoshan City, Eryuan, Yongping, Lijiang, Qiubei, Yuanjiang, Xinping, Yimen, Tengchong, Shidian, Nanjian, Shilin, Songming, Luquan, Jinning and Songming. The yield and index of tobacco leaves in this planting area are moderate, the chemical composition is coordinated and the quality is good.

Secondary suitable planting areas: including Lufeng, Yiliang, Malong, Yongsheng, Yunxian, Luliang, Qilin District of Qujing City, Shizong, Zhanyi, Yanshan, Maguan and Zhenxiong. The tobacco yield and index in this planting area are low, the alkali content is high, the chemical composition is basically coordinated, and the tobacco quality is good.

Three suitable planting areas: Dayao, Chuxiong, Wuding, Yao 'an, Yuanmou, Weishan, Dali and Midu. The yield and index of tobacco leaves in this planting area are high, sugar is high, alkali is low, and the composition is uncoordinated.

Four-level suitable planting area: including Yongping Factory Street 1 pilot. The tobacco yield in this planting area is moderate, the yield index is low, the sugar and alkali are low, and the quality is poor.

(3) Cloud 85:

The first-class suitable planting areas include Lufeng, Yuanmou, Yongping, Binchuan, Eryuan, Lijiang, Yunxian, Fuyuan, Malone, Shizong, Luliang, Qujing Qilin District, Yuanjiang, Zhaotong Zhaoyang District, Zhenxiong, Luquan, Yiliang, Shidian, Xiangyun, Midu, Fengqing, Xuanwei, Qiubei and Malipo. The tobacco yield in the planting area is moderate, the yield index is high, the nicotine is high, and the tobacco quality is good.

Secondary suitable planting areas: including Shuangbai, Wuding, Nanjian, Yongsheng, Maguan, Chengjiang, Hongta District of Yuxi, Eshan, Ludian, Songming, Chuxiong, Yaoan, Dali, Weishan, Yanshan and Jiangchuan. The tobacco yield in this planting area is moderate, the sugar content is high, and the chemical composition is basically coordinated.

Three-level suitable planting areas: including Zhanyi, Xichou, Wenshan, Huaning, Yanjin, Yiliang, Shilin and Songming counties. The quality of tobacco leaves in this planting area is good, and the yield and index are low.

Four-level suitable planting areas: including Tengchong, Longyang District of Baoshan City, Dayao, Guangnan and other counties. The yield of tobacco leaves in this planting area is low, the alkali content is low, and the ratio of sugar to alkali is not harmonious.

(4) Cloud 87:

First-class suitable planting areas: including Yuanmou, Binchuan, Yongping, Nanjian, Tengchong, Xinping, Fengqing, Yiliang, Qilin District of Qujing City, Luliang, Yao 'an, Tonghai, Qiubei, Malipo, Xuanwei and Fuyuan. The planting area has high tobacco yield, high alkali and high yield, coordinated chemical composition and good tobacco quality.

Secondary suitable planting areas: including Dayao, Chuxiong, Shuangbai, Xiangyun, Midu, Weishan, Dali, Lijiang, Eshan, Xichou, Wenshan, Guangnan, Yanshan, Maguan, Zhaoyang District of Zhaotong, Ludian, Yanjin, Shilin, Luquan and Songming. The tobacco yield in this planting area is high, the yield index is moderate, the sugar content is high and the alkali content is low, the chemical composition is basically coordinated, and the tobacco quality is good.

Three-level suitable planting areas: including Lufeng, Yimen, Hongta District, Weixin, Zhenxiong, Jinning, Zhanyi and Wuding counties in Yuxi City. The tobacco yield in this planting area is moderate, the yield index is high, the alkali content is high, and the sugar-alkali ratio is not harmonious.

Four-level suitable planting areas: including Shidian, Longyang District of Baoshan City, Huaning, Chengjiang, Yuanjiang, Jiangchuan, Malong and other counties. The yield of tobacco leaves in this planting area is low, the yield index is medium, the sugar content is high, the alkali content is low, and the components are uncoordinated.

(5) Special G28:

First-class suitable planting areas: including Longyang District, Wuding, Yuanmou, Eryuan, Lijiang, Wenshan, Xiangyun, Shilin and Xuanwei in Baoshan City. The tobacco yield in this planting area is moderate, with high yield index and good quality.

Secondary suitable planting areas: including Dayao, Shuangbai, Midu, Jinning, Luquan, Qiubei, Lufeng, Songming, Fengqing, Fuyuan, Lvliang and other counties. The tobacco yield in this planting area is moderate, the yield index is low, the structure is coordinated and the quality is good.

Three suitable planting areas: including Yongping, Yunxian, Shizong and Zhanyi counties. The yield and index of tobacco leaves in this planting area are low, the sugar content is low, and the quality is average.

Four suitable planting areas: including Chuxiong, Yao 'an, Dali, Xichou and other counties. The yield, index and sugar content of tobacco leaves in this planting area are high, the nicotine content is low and the quality is poor.

Three-level suitable planting areas: including Dali, Yongping, Tengchong, Dayao, Chuxiong, Yao 'an, Malong and other counties. The yield and index of tobacco leaves in this planting area are high, the alkali content is low and the components are uncoordinated.

Four suitable planting areas: including Lufeng, Yanshan, Maguan, Luliang and Fuyuan counties. The yield and index of tobacco leaves in this planting area are low, the components are uncoordinated and the quality is poor.

Three suitable planting areas: including Yiliang and other counties. The yield and index of tobacco leaves in this planting area are low, the ratio of sugar to alkali is uncoordinated and the quality is poor.

Four suitable planting areas: Longyang District of Baoshan City, Dayao, Fengqing, Qilin District of Qujing City, Shizong, Wenshan, Yanjin and Zhenxiong. The yield, index and sugar content of tobacco leaves in this planting area are low.

(8) Cloud 3 17:

The first-class suitable planting areas include Yuanmou, Xiangyun, Midu, Binchuan, Nanjian, Fengqing, Malipo, Eshan, Huaning, Xinping, Malone, Xuanwei, Lufeng, Yongping, Lijiang, Xichou, Jiangchuan, Zhaoyang District of Zhaotong City, Weixin, Fuyuan and Zhanyi. The yield and index of tobacco leaves in this planting area are high, the chemical composition is coordinated and the quality is good.

Secondary suitable planting areas: including Guangnan, Yanshan, Wenshan and Hongta in Yuxi, Yimen, Zhenxiong, Yanjin, Shilin, Jinning, Luquan, Yiliang and Qilin in Qujing. The inner quality of tobacco leaves in this planting area is good, the chemical composition is coordinated, and the yield and index are low.

Grade III suitable planting areas: including Tengchong, Longyang District of Baoshan City, Dayao, Donghua, Shuangbai, Wuding, Yaoan, Xiangyun, Yongping, Yongsheng, Chengjiang, Tonghai, Ludian and Lvliang. The yield and index of tobacco leaves in this planting area are high, nicotine is low, and chemical composition is uncoordinated.

Four suitable planting areas: including Yunxian, Maguan, Qiubei, Songming, Dali, Yuanjiang, Yiliang and other counties. The tobacco yield, sugar and nicotine in this planting area are low.

(9)RG 1 1:

The first-class suitable planting areas include Yuanmou, Dali, Xiangyun, Yongping, Lijiang, Jiangchuan, Ludian, Tengchong, Dayao, Chuxiong, Yao 'an, Yongsheng, Qiubei, Hongta District of Yuxi, Xinping, Zhaoyang District of Zhaotong, Malong, Jinning, Luquan and Songming. The tobacco yield and index in this planting area are high, the chemical composition is coordinated, and the tobacco quality is good.

Secondary suitable planting areas: including Longyang District, Wuding, Eryuan, Wenshan, Guangnan, Eshan, Tonghai, Yimen, Yuanjiang, Huaning, Ludian, Weixin, Yanjin, Zhenxiong and Shilin. The yield and index of tobacco leaves in this planting area are low, the chemical composition of tobacco leaves is coordinated and the quality is good.

Three-level suitable planting areas: including Shidian, Shuangbai, Binchuan, Midu, Nanjian, Malipo, Qilin District of Qujing City, Xuanwei and other counties. The yield and index of tobacco leaves in this planting area are medium, with high nicotine content and poor quality.

Four suitable planting areas: including Lufeng, Yunxian, Fengqing, Xichou, Maguan, Yanshan, Chengjiang, Luliang, Fuyuan, Yiliang and Yiliang counties. The yield and index of tobacco leaves in this planting area are low, the nicotine content is high, the chemical composition is uncoordinated and the quality is poor.

( 10)RG 17:

First-class suitable planting areas: including Tonghai, Jiangchuan, Weishan, Xiangyun, Binchuan and other counties. The yield and index of tobacco leaves in this planting area are high, the chemical composition is coordinated and the quality is good.

Secondary suitable planting areas: including Eshan, Yuanjiang, Xinping, Midu, Nanjian, Lijiang, Longyang District of Baoshan City, Shidian, Zhenxiong, Zhaoyang District of Zhaotong City, Ludian and Yanjin. The yield and index of tobacco leaves in this planting area are moderate, the chemical composition of tobacco leaves is coordinated and the quality is good.

Three suitable planting areas: including Xichou, Wenshan, Guangnan, Yanshan, Maguan, Fengqing, Weixin and other counties. The yield and index of tobacco leaves in this planting area are low, the alkali content is high, and the chemical composition is not harmonious.

Grade 4 suitable planting areas: including Yimen, Hongta, Huaning, Dali, Yongping, Tengchong and other counties in Yuxi City. The yield of tobacco leaves in this planting area is low, the alkali content is low, the chemical composition is uncoordinated and the quality is poor.

The yield and index of tobacco leaves in this planting area are higher, sugar is higher, alkali is lower, and the quality of tobacco leaves is better.

Grade III suitable planting areas: including Tengchong, Dayao, Midu, Lvliang, Wenshan, Hongta District of Yuxi City, Yuanjiang, Huaning, Luquan and Songming. The yield and index of tobacco leaves in this planting area are low, the chemical composition is basically coordinated, and the quality of tobacco leaves is average.

Four-level suitable planting areas: including Shidian, Yunxian, Fengqing, Qilin, Zhanyi, Yanshan, Maguan, Zhenxiong, Yiliang and other counties in Qujing City. The yield and index of tobacco leaves in this planting area are low, with low sugar and high alkali.

(2) Varieties suitable for planting in major tobacco-growing counties (districts) in Yunnan Province

Due to the unique three-dimensional climate in Yunnan, there are great differences in variety selectivity among different tobacco-growing areas in our province. In some places, there are more varieties suitable for planting, while in others, there are fewer varieties. The varieties suitable for planting in counties (districts) of Yunnan are summarized in Table 2.
