Why do enterprises in China like to recruit international students?

Overseas students are more open-minded and have more ideas than domestic students, because they are exposed to foreign cultures during their study abroad. Therefore, some domestic enterprises like to recruit international students, hoping to use their ideas to drive the development of the company.

First, I hope to inject fresh blood into the enterprise. Most of our education in China is exam-oriented education. After these children get advanced diplomas, they need long-term practice in their work units to help the company enhance its value. Some international students start their internships at university, so they can become regular employees directly when they return to China to find a job. The company saves them several months of training and some costs. Therefore, many companies hope to recruit some overseas students, which can not only bring them some advanced foreign ideas, but also adapt to the working environment more quickly.

Second, international students are very resistant to stress. Overseas students are much more resistant to stress than domestic students, because they have to bear everything abroad all the year round and their thoughts are more mature than their peers. Their independent ability is also much stronger than that of domestic college students. When they encounter setbacks, they will try to solve the problem. Because domestic college students have been around their parents, they will habitually choose to avoid problems when they encounter difficulties. Many domestic students are not as good as overseas college students, so some companies are very willing to recruit overseas students.

Although the employment rate of domestic students in the company is high, the turnover rate is also high. They may change jobs frequently, resulting in a serious brain drain in the company. Once overseas college students have identified a company, they will always work hard for it, so when companies consider whether they can retain talents, they will be more willing to choose college students who have returned from studying abroad.
