Hubei Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Affiliated Hospital of Hubei University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Hubei Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine) is the first batch of state-level demonstration hospitals in state administration of traditional chinese medicine, a national clinical research base of traditional Chinese medicine, a national drug clinical trial institution and a data center of traditional Chinese medicine in Hubei Province. It is the only "four in one" provincial top three Chinese medicine hospital in China.

The hospital was founded in 1868 (seven years of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty). Its predecessor was Yan Chai Hospital founded by British missionary Dr. Young, with a history of 154 years.

Through the efforts of several generations of provincial TCM practitioners, the hospital has developed into a large-scale comprehensive provincial TCM hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, health care and new drug research and development.

The hospital has "one hospital and four sites", namely Huayuanshan Campus, Guanggu Campus, Phoenix Clinic and gedian Campus.

The building area is 290,000 square meters and there are more than 2,500 open beds.

Our hospital is now the construction unit of regional TCM diagnosis and treatment center (nephropathy) and the cultivation unit of regional TCM diagnosis and treatment center (liver disease).
