Distribution of Confucius Institutes:

Confucius Institute, or Confucius Institute, is not a university in the general sense, but an exchange institution to promote Chinese and spread China culture. It is a non-profit social welfare institution, generally set up in foreign universities and research institutes and other educational institutions. One of the most important tasks of Confucius Institute is to provide standardized and authoritative modern Chinese textbooks for Chinese learners all over the world.

Confucius is the representative of traditional culture in China, and choosing Confucius as the brand of Chinese teaching is the symbol of the revival of traditional culture in China. In order to promote Chinese culture, the China Municipal Government established the National Leading Group for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language (Hanban for short) on 1987, and Hanban hosted the Confucius Institute.

Adhering to Confucius' ideas of "harmony is precious" and "harmony is different", it promotes the exchange and integration of China's culture with that of other countries in the world, aiming at building a harmonious world with lasting peace and prosperity. Mr. Chen, a professor of Chinese Department at the University of British Columbia and chairman of the Chinese Association of Canada, was the earliest proponent of this project.
