Chen Xingdan's Life Experience

In 1950s and 1960s, he did a lot of pioneering work in China at that time, and made important contributions to national economic construction and national defense research. In China's first nuclear test, he was responsible for measuring the light radiation power of the explosion. Without any data to follow, the measurement scheme is creatively conceived. An unmanned flux measurement system is proposed, which can automatically display the integral value of "light pulse" and is safe and reliable without external power supply, site restrictions and environmental interference, and is convenient for data recovery after nuclear explosion. Design and develop optical radiation sensors with different working modes to solve the reasonable distribution of parameters such as large range, high sensitivity and short time constant. Coelostat calibration system is proposed to simulate nuclear explosion radiation, and an absolute radiometer is developed to realize quasi-calibration. Several kinds of optical pulse meters were successfully developed for the first nuclear test in China, and were selected as the necessary radiation measuring equipment for future atmospheric nuclear tests, which provided accurate test data for the killing effect and killing range of optical radiation and the change of optical pulse with equivalent, weather, distance and explosion. He once worked and taught in changchun university of science and technology (Changchun Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics).

In the mid-1970s, China opened up the research field of short-wave (vacuum ultraviolet to soft X-ray) optical technology, put forward pilot and systematic scientific research projects, presided over the development of ultraviolet vacuum ultraviolet external wall argon arc standard light source and rare gas ionization chamber standard detector, and established the standard of short-wave spectral radiation intensity. Presided over the development of soft X-ray Pan Ning light source, double plasma light source and vacuum ultraviolet cathode light source, forming a series of high-performance spectral light sources covering 8nm-200nm. A series of normal incidence and grazing incidence monochromators and spectrometers with different wave bands and different applications have been developed. It is planned to carry out research on soft X-ray multilayer film and its supporting technology, train talents through international cooperation, develop coating and testing equipment, and study ultra-smooth optical surface processing and normal incidence soft X-ray imaging. A series of internationally advanced achievements have been made in the field of short-wave optical technology, and a complete technical foundation has been established in the fields of soft X-ray light source, components, metrology, normal incidence microscopic imaging and so on. It laid a technical foundation for the later important application research of space short-wave optical remote sensing instrument, synchrotron radiation beam line, soft X-ray microscopic imaging, soft X-ray space telescope and soft X-ray projection lithography. Therefore, 1989, 199 1 China academy of sciences first prize and second prize for scientific and technological progress, and 1995 second prize for national scientific and technological progress were the first winners.

Since the end of 1990s, he has been devoted to the research of near infrared spectroscopy technology and its application. On the basis of hosting the national key scientific and technological projects in the Seventh Five-Year Plan and the Eighth Five-Year Plan in the past, he presided over and completed the national key scientific and technological project "Research and development of rapid detection technology and instruments for grain quality", and successively developed the "third generation" filter near-infrared diffuse reflectance spectrum analyzer. In recent years, many doctoral students and postdoctoral students graduated or left the station, which expanded the application of near infrared spectroscopy technology in tea, ginseng, coal burning, biochemistry and other fields.

Over the past twenty years, * * * has trained dozens of graduate students, most of whom are abroad; There are nearly ten doctoral students and several postdoctoral students. The following are some graduate jobs: near infrared spectroscopy;

Chen Xingdan had an unhappy childhood. His mother died in childbirth. My father was killed by reactionaries because he participated in the 1927 revolution. It is conceivable that a child who has lost the care of his parents since childhood will encounter many difficulties and twists and turns in the process of growing up. Later, Chen Xingdan often loved to sing such a "Family Song" composed by Zhong He. The first two sentences are: "everyone has a father, but I am lonely;" Everyone has a mother, but no one is lonely ... "He sang and couldn't help crying. However, when I sang the second paragraph, I felt excited. The lyrics are: "Pick up the groans of pain and give your heart. I am old and old, young and young, young and young ... the magnificent universe lasts forever. Datong love, * * * enjoys family. " Whenever he sings to an emotional place, he is overwhelmed by emotion and imagination. Therefore, it also cultivated his life-long generous love for others.

After losing his parents, he was brought up by a kind grandmother. At the age of four, he followed his cousin to study in Tude Primary School nearby. Unexpectedly, this "follow-up student" was so absorbed in the teacher's lecture that his exam results were no worse than those of his big brother and big sister. The teacher was surprised and happy, so he officially took the class to continue reading. At the age of nine, he went to Dunhua Primary School in Dengshidu, which is eight miles away from home. He must take care of his daily life, so he cultivated the ability to live independently at an early age. Later, he finished junior high school in Xiangxiang Middle School. It was during the period of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, when the war was raging and the country was in crisis. There is no money at home to let him go to other places to continue his high school. When he was in a difficult situation, it happened that the Ministry of Education set up a school called "Chinese Technical Department" in Yongfeng Town not far away, which was equivalent to a secondary school. Many people signed up and did not charge tuition and room and board. Chen Xingdan passed the electrical engineering department of the school for three years with excellent results. Until June 1944, when I was about to graduate, the Japanese army attacked southern Hunan, and Chen Xingdan said goodbye to school and home with tears and began to flee. This year, he was only 17 years old and was homeless with several classmates. When he reached Gui Xiang Road, he finally got on a southbound train. When he couldn't get into the carriage, he climbed onto the roof, held the railing, let the wind and rain blow, and dared not sleep at night. When he drove to Lingling, he saw an anti-Japanese propaganda organization there and actively signed up for it. Their task was to publicize and sympathize with the anti-Japanese soldiers, the wounded and the people, which lasted nearly three months. With the further pressure of the situation, they couldn't stay in Lingling and had to go to Guilin. When I arrived in Guilin, I was forced to evacuate for the third time. People are in panic, people are rolling, and the train heading south can't move. The students who came out all the way were scattered, so he followed a dozen workers from a private rubber factory to Xiangxi, then moved to Guiyang, and finally found something to do in an auto repair shop to make a living. It was not until the victory of the Anti-Japanese War in the second year that he ended his exile. From this escape experience, he deeply realized that his country was not strong, and the fundamental reason was that the government was corrupt and incompetent, and the technology was backward, so that it was invaded by foreign enemies and was ravaged and slaughtered, which brought profound disasters and pains to the people. He believes that if the country is to be strong and the nation is to be revived, it is necessary to demand itself with the sense of responsibility and urgency of "every man is responsible for the rise and fall of the world", study hard, cultivate skills and strive to build a good country. This is the correct way for young people to serve the motherland.

Japanese imperialism finally declared its unconditional surrender in August 1945. The whole world rejoiced and celebrated. Chen Xingdan is also happy to return to his hometown and reunite with his relatives. At that time, the war-torn hometown was devastated and everything was in ruins. What did Chen Canxing Dan do for his hometown? He believes that being a teacher is a career that inspires people and cultivates talents for the country, so he taught primary school in the countryside for one year and was well received by students. In order to better serve the motherland, he decided to continue his studies. 1July, 946, admitted to National Normal University (now the predecessor of Hunan Normal University) to study physics.

/kloc-at the beginning of 0/950, the northeast recruitment team came to Hunan to recruit people. Chen Xingdan yearns for the Northeast after liberation, which is the largest industrial base in New China, and is bound to make great achievements, so he and a group of students went to work in the physics laboratory of Northeast Institute of Science. After that, it was transferred to the instrument hall (now Changchun Institute of Optics and Mechanics) founded by Mr. Wang Daheng, a famous optical authority. He worked conscientiously here for more than half a century and made great contributions to the cause of optics. 1927 On May 6th, Chen Lao was born in an ordinary family in Guomen Village, Yutang Town, Hunan Province. His mother died as soon as he was born. A year later, my father was swallowed up by the raging revolution and never came back. He lived alone and was raised by his grandmother. "My grandmother was the most influential person in my childhood. Although she can't read, she is kind and hardworking. I clearly remember that a neighbor abandoned her newborn daughter, but her grandmother saved the baby. From my grandmother, I learned how to treat others. It is my principle not to quarrel with others. In my bones, I yearn for the early realization of a harmonious society of' great harmony and fraternity'. " From Chen Lao's story, we can see his noble quality of being kind to others all his life.

When I was a child, Chen Lao's home was close to school, but he didn't have a chance to go to school. When he was four years old, a cousin two years older than him refused to go to school, so his family asked him to accompany him. Clever, he can easily keep up with the progress and get the first place in almost every exam.

Because his family is poor, he borrowed money to study in junior high school. At the beginning of each semester, people everywhere in the family borrow money. Because the high school tuition is too high to afford, he had to give up the opportunity to take the high school exam after graduating from junior high school. At that time, the Ministry of Education set up a technical secondary school called "Central Technology Department" in Yongfeng, which was divided into electrical department and mechanical department. There is no tuition. The school provides accommodation, books and uniforms. So there were many people who applied for this school that year. Among the sea of candidates, Chen Lao was admitted to the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.

1June, 944, Japanese troops invaded southern Hunan. He and his classmates fled to Lingling and were forced to evacuate. They climbed onto the train carrying the wounded soldiers, headed south along the Gui Xiang Railway, and sat on the roof. They suffered from wind and rain, sun and rain, and dared not doze off at night, because they didn't know when the train would stop and then leave. When I arrived in Guilin, I was forced to evacuate for the third time, so I couldn't get on the train going south and was crowded with my classmates. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, Chen Lao can finally return to his hometown. "I haven't heard from my family for two years, and my relatives thought I was dead." Recalling the past, Chen Lao can't help but feel sad.

After returning to China, Chen Lao was admitted to the Physics Department of the National Normal University, because he had no money at home and could not be admitted to an ordinary university. At that time, teachers had a high status in rural society, and rural people thought teachers were great. He also made up his mind to be a middle school teacher after graduation.
