China Youth Network regards developing and promoting peer education as a way to spread sexual and reproductive health knowledge to young people. Through participatory training, China Youth Network supports teenagers to develop life skills, learn to establish good interpersonal relationships, transmit correct sexual and reproductive health information and responsible attitudes, and advocate safe sex. China Youth Network, together with China Family Planning Association (CFPA), is committed to establishing and perfecting local youth networks and supporting local youth networks and youth associations to carry out peer education activities with young people inside and outside the school. China Youth Network pays more attention to floating youth and disadvantaged youth.

At the same time, China Youth Network is committed to the training of peer educators. We provide peer educator training and other technical support for funded projects, such as universities, local youth networks, local family planning associations and family planning offices. Training objectives include:

A. Adolescent health project universities: the universities that won the bid for the adolescent health project of China Family Planning Association and China Youth Network, and other adolescent health project schools that applied for technical support from China Family Planning Association and China Youth Network. Related activities: China Youth Network National Youth Health Training Camp (summer), etc.

B local youth network: peer education (including project management) training initiated by local family planning system and organized by local youth network for interns and volunteers of local youth network. Related activities: Organize youth health peer education and training camp in local provincial and municipal universities.

C. Training activities carried out by the local family planning system: The local family planning association applied to the China Family Planning Association and invited the China Youth Network to provide training support. The content is to train peer educators for adolescent health projects. Related activities: Haidian District Youth Health Peer Association hosted the training.

D new media training: build a new media platform for peer educators' training, and explore the use of new media to promote peer educators' training, so that it can serve more peer educators.

Training plan: different designs (activity duration, activity content, etc. ) according to different situations.

In addition, the content of peer education is sexual and reproductive health, which is characterized by vivid participation. Therefore, it is necessary to compile peer education materials to keep novelty and creativity in link design and activity update. The related work of China Youth Network includes:

A. Put forward suggestions and opinions on the update and reprint of peer education-related instruction manuals such as The Way to Grow, Peer Education Manual, etc. Accept the invitation of young health teachers of China Family Planning Association, and put forward opinions and suggestions on the revision of relevant manuals on behalf of teenagers.

B. Accumulate experience in the process of developing peer education, and develop novel and inspiring peer education links and activities.

C integrate the pre-test and post-test questionnaires of peer education, and analyze and improve the peer education process.

D. supervise peer education in colleges and universities and guide the development of peer education in colleges and universities. Collect peer education recordings, sort out materials and learn to improve. China Youth Network is a volunteer organization composed of young people under the age of 25. Under the management and support of China Family Planning Association (CFPA), it pays attention to and devotes itself to the sexual and reproductive health of young people in China. The organizational structure is divided into central and local levels, all of which are composed of volunteers.

Central level

1. Core Group

The core group is the highest decision-making body of China Youth Network, taking into account the daily management and project operation coordination of the youth network at the national level, and is composed of core group members. There are peer education and training working groups, university project working groups, daily operation working groups, public relations and publicity working groups and advisory groups composed of former CYN members. The four working groups are led by a core group member or intern, and are composed of several interns and volunteers. They are responsible for the work of each working group and are responsible to the core group. The core group is the core decision-making body of China Youth Network. It is located in Beijing and consists of at most seven people. The members of the core group handle the affairs of China Youth Network according to the principle that the minority is subordinate to the majority when voting.

2. Detention

In order to ensure the continuity of the core group, interns are guided by the core group. Core group members cultivate the necessary skills of interns, including project management, training and other skills, as well as adolescent sexual and reproductive health knowledge and information. Some of them will become core group members in the future.

3. Volunteers

Any teenager can apply to be a project volunteer of China Youth Network, or participate in and support the activities of China Youth Network in various ways. By participating in the teacher training of China Youth Network, they can become peer educators and then carry out peer education activities in their areas. And participate in various publicity activities.

4. Coordinator

The coordinator is a project official sent by China Family Planning Association (CFPA). His main responsibility is to manage and coordinate the affairs of China Youth Network together with the core group, devote himself to the training, organizational development and operation of China Youth Network, and ensure the sustainable development of China Youth Network.

Local level

1. Core Group of Local Youth Network

The core group of local youth network is the highest decision-making body of local youth network, and at the same time, it partly undertakes local project work; Led by local youth representatives and mentors, responsible for the recruitment and management of members and the core group of China Youth Network. The work of local youth networks is arranged by youth representatives and core groups according to local actual conditions.

The sixth national project of the United Nations Population Fund selected 30 project counties in 30 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions as project pilot units. Each project site is the responsibility of the local project leading group. On the one hand, the local youth representatives of China Youth Network are members of local leading bodies; On the other hand, they cooperated with local project instructors to carry out youth network activities in China at the grassroots level, and participated in the formulation of local adolescent reproductive health policies and the development of projects. Among them, the project tutor provides technical, human and material support.

2. Local volunteers

Local youth representatives and local volunteers form a local youth network to implement local projects in China Youth Network. Local youth networks are responsible for recruiting, managing and training local volunteers.

3. Teachers

Under the guidance and supervision of China Family Planning Association/China Youth Network, he is the person in charge or project officer of local family planning or related departments. His main responsibility is to advocate adolescent sexual and reproductive health rights together with local youth networks, reflect adolescents' needs in sexual and reproductive health, and help local youth networks to carry out related activities.
