The difference between decal porcelain and hand-painted porcelain

Hello everyone ~ Porcelain is a great invention of China and a foreign name of China. In the world, the treasures of museums with a certain scale are usually Jingdezhen porcelain. Porcelain is also the largest collection in China. Every household can not hang paintings and calligraphy, but must have porcelain. But there are decal porcelain and hand-painted porcelain on the market. What's the difference between them? Let's have a look.

1, different production:

Porcelain decal is to transfer the color pattern on the flower paper to the ceramic body or glaze by pasting method; Porcelain hand-painting is an artistic ceramic that is painted on ceramics by hand.

2. Different modes:

The decorative patterns of porcelain decals are generally symmetrical or the same pattern; However, hand-painted porcelain is not exactly the same pattern.

3. Different characteristics:

Porcelain decal ceramic ink has strong hiding power and poor transparency, so it can't be printed by the principle of three primary colors. The dot printing method adopts non-overlapping side-by-side spot color ink dot printing; Hand-painted porcelain is a kind of articles with different shapes and shapes, which has high collection value. Compared with reproductions, hand-painted works are more vivid, artistic, colorful and heavy.

There are several simple ways to distinguish decal porcelain from hand-painted porcelain:

One: directly observe the surface of the object with the naked eye or magnifying glass. Because the decal paper of porcelain is printed by computer typesetting, and the computer printing technology is based on square pixels, a net pattern similar to that on cloth will appear when printed on the decal paper. If a similar grid is observed on porcelain, 100% is decal porcelain.

Two: Touch by hand. In the process of hand painting, hand-painted porcelain will have a sense of brushwork and different shades of color. The layering and three-dimensional sense of the drawn pattern is stronger than that of decal porcelain.

Third, look at colored applique porcelain. Whether it is an over-glaze applique or an under-glaze applique, the thickness of pigment attached to the finished product is limited, and the depth of color is also difficult to solve in the applique. If green appears in the pattern, the depth of green in the whole picture is basically the same, which is also an important way to distinguish decals from hand-painting. Observing and comparing the pattern decal porcelain is generally produced in batches, and the patterns are basically the same, while hand-painted porcelain can't be exactly the same. Comparing two porcelains, it is exactly the same as sticking flowers. Many decals have a circle of decorative patterns on the top, bottom, left and right edges. If there are overlapping patterns, dislocation or seams, you can see that porcelain is decal porcelain.
