School Profile of Fuqing Hongkuan Middle School

Fuqing Hongkuan Middle School is an overseas Chinese school that was donated and expanded by the famous overseas Chinese Mr. Lin Wenjing. It is the only complete middle school in Yangxia Street, Fuqing. The school was founded in 1958 and was originally named Fuqing Yangxia Middle School. Since 1978, Mr. Lin Wenjing, an overseas Chinese, has generously donated money to expand the school many times, and the school has been moved to Xitou Village. In April 1987, with the approval of relevant departments, the school was renamed Hongkuan Middle School. In August 2002, it was approved to resume operations, and in September 2003, the first high school began enrolling students.
