Guo Qian County belongs to Songyuan City, Jilin Province. Guo Qian County, the full name of former Guoerluosi Mongolian Autonomous County, is the only Mongolian Autonomous County in Jilin Province. Guo Qian County, with a total area of 7,000 square kilometers, is located in the political, economic and cultural center of Songyuan City and is an important passage at the junction of Kyrgyzstan and China. There are more than 65.438 million cultural relics and historical sites at all levels in the county, and more than 65.438 million intangible cultural heritage protection projects, including 9 national-level projects, which were named as "the hometown of Ma Touqin" by the Chinese National Orchestra Society.

"Golros" originated from the transliteration of the ancient Mongolian tribe name "Horolas", which means "river". Qianguoerluosi is located on the south bank of Songhua River, so Qianguoerluosi Mongolian means "Jiangnan". The Neolithic site found in Manghanantuo, Yaohaote, Gudian Township, Guo Qian County proves that there were human activities in this area 5000 years ago.
