Haifeng county belongs to Shanwei city. Haifeng is located in the southeast coast of Guangdong Province, bordering Lu Fengxian in the east, Huidong County and Zijin County in the northwest, Lianhua Mountain in the north and the South China Sea in the south.

Haifeng county's terrain inclines from northwest to southeast. The elevation of the main peak of Lianhua Mountain is1337.3m, and Lianhua Mountain traverses the northern part of the county.
