Analog signal isolation transmitters are widely used in instruments and DCS systems in some aluminum plants and steel plants we have done. The main reasons are as follows:

1. A large number of DCS systems are composed of PLC. Because we are worried that the over-voltage of field operation will be transmitted to PLC through the transmitter, which will cause a wide range of faults, it is best to isolate all signals with an isolation signal transmitter after they enter our cabinet. The transmitter SST4-DT with high pressure resistance and high precision is mainly used. Different from ordinary isolation, this transmitter adopts coil isolation, and the isolation effect is better through photoelectric isolation in the chip (see technical index).

2. We see that similar equipment imported from abroad generally adopts input isolation transmitter (isolator), especially from Japan, which is very beneficial to limit the fault range and reduce the maintenance time.

3. The aluminum plant will adopt the signal loop of control equipment such as annealing furnace and soaking furnace.

4. The steel plant will adopt PLC control system, DCS system and instrument system.
