Historical background of Zhongshan Square

Zhongshan Square was established at 19 13, located at the intersection of Zhongshan Road, Nanjing Street and Beisi Road, and was then called Central Square. 19 19 is called Su Lang square; During the Kuomintang rule, Su Lang Square was renamed Zhongshan Square, which is still in use after liberation. In memory of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, the founding father of our country, Su Lang Square was renamed Zhongshan Square.

After the founding of New China, the Shenyang Municipal Government carried out the first renovation of 1956 Zhongshan Square, and built a new fountain in the center of the square, which set off the atmosphere of the square. 1969 has undergone a large-scale transformation again. Fengtian Branch (now Shenyang Federation of Trade Unions) and Mantie Fengtian Local Office (now Shenyang Railway Bureau Public Security Department).

The office building of Shenyang Federation of Trade Unions, which ranked sixth in sequence, was originally built in 1922, and it was Toyo Tuozhi Co., Ltd. 1931September19. The headquarters of the Japanese Kwantung Army moved here from Lushun. After its establishment, People's Republic of China (PRC) became the office of Shenyang Federation of Trade Unions. The new owner expanded the building with similar style behind the building and rented the front to the bank for use. Bank of Zheng Jin, Yokohama, Fengtian Sub-branch, located in the west of Zhongshan Square, was established on 1924 and completed on September 30th, 2005. It is a branch of Zheng Jin Bank in Yokohama in Toyota. It used to be the Far East Bank before the founding of the People's Republic of China, and it was changed to China Industrial and Commercial Bank after 1949.

Bank of Korea Fengtian Sub-branch is located in the northeast of Zhongshan Square, built at 1920. It is a branch of the Bank of Korea in Toyota, Japan. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, it was changed to Shenyang Institute of Vacuum Technology, which is now used by Huaxia Bank.

Mitsui foreign firm building, located on the north side of Zhongshan Square, was built at 1937. It is a private bank established in Fengtian by Mitsui Foundation of Japan.
