From 1996 to 2004, the hospital has carried out more than 230 new technologies and projects, among which "Clinical application of fiberoptic bronchoscope" and "Clinical application of fiberoptic bronchoscope" have carried out three scientific research projects: observation of oxygen therapy and respiratory failure, dynamic observation of bilirubin and its related effects in normal full-term newborns in western Sichuan, and vaporization treatment of prostate. The first two items have been concluded, and the dynamic observation and research on bilirubin of normal full-term newborns in western Sichuan won the third prize of scientific and technological progress in Chengdu in 2003. He has published more than 300 academic papers in municipal, provincial and national journals.

After the "5. 12" earthquake in 2008, the Chongqing municipal government invested 230 million yuan to rebuild in different places, and the Hong Kong government invested 120,000 yuan to build a rehabilitation center for the disabled. Adhering to the concept of sustainable development, the new hospital has modern appearance design and reasonable functional layout, covering an area of 145.8 mu, with a building area of 48,000 square meters and 694 open beds.
