On December 13th, the first phase of Xi 'an Metro Line 16 was officially launched. This is the first north-south rail transit line in Xixian New Area, which is of great significance for optimizing the spatial development pattern of Da Xi 'an and speeding up the construction of Da Xi 'an New Center.

Xi 'an Metro Line 16 is the north-south trunk line of Xixian New Area. The total length of the line is about 65.3km, and there are 25 stations in * * *, including 1 transfer stations. The southern end starts from Xin Xi 'an South Station, goes north along the west side of Kunming Pool, passes through Haojing Site, Fengjing Site, Fengdong New City and Energy Finance and Trade Zone, crosses Weihe River and passes through Qinhan New City, and ends in Jingyang area. The first phase of Line 16 starts from Energy Third Road Station in Energy Finance and Trade Zone in the north and reaches Fengdong Town Station in Fengdong New City in the south. It was approved by the National Development and Reform Commission in June 219, started on December 1, 219, and was completed in 223. Line connection 4 administrative districts: Chang 'an District, Qindu District, Weicheng District and Jingyang County; Development Zone: High-tech Zone, Xixian New Area Fengdong New Town, Qinhan New Town, Airport New Town and Jinghe New Town.

The first phase of the project has a total length of about 15.3 kilometers and is laid underground along Fenghao Avenue, Fuxing Avenue and Fengjing Avenue. From south to north, Fengdong Town Station, Zhang Wang Canal Station, Fengdong Avenue Station, Fengdong Third Road Station, Ketong Third Road Station, Ketong Sixth Road Station, Shanglin Road Station, Energy Center Station, Energy Third Road Station, etc. (all are Among them, Shanglin Road Station will be connected with Metro Line 1, and Zhangwangqu Station will be connected with Metro Line 5.
