What do you mean by same-store sales?

Same-store sales are often used in chain enterprises (such as catering and clothing retail). The business growth rate of new stores will be very high, but it does not mean that the industry is in a period of high growth, or that such high growth is not brought about by good management, so it is not objective to look at the business or profit growth of new stores alone, so chain enterprises will use same-store sales in their financial reports, which refers to the sales of all branches, not just the sales of a new store.
