Which car brands make you unforgivable?
In the spring of 20 10, BYD recruited in Chengdu. As a sophomore, he went to the job fair. The first sentence is like this-please ask the sophomore to leave, but we didn't ask. Other companies have to screen resumes privately, so let's save face. It is only because you are fierce that the hammer buys your product. There are so many comments, update it. Hammer is a dialect mantra, not swearing. ) This was seven or eight years ago. I was discriminated against when I was looking for a job, which was nothing. But words like BYD HR really dare not compliment. Just as you refuse to pursue your lover, don't you say, "You are too short to deserve it. You are too ugly to fit. Your income is too low to be suitable. " Besides, so many students in the two schools are potential customers of BYD. It's just that BYD HR wants to save himself some time, and I don't recommend people around me to buy BYD's car. Is that all? Everyone who has come out to work knows the weight of the word "people are hard to tear down"
Why do expensive cars look better than cheap ones? Will a well-designed car increase many production costs?
First, to make expensive cars look better than cheap cars, the production cost is really higher. Second, compared with cheap cars, expensive cars not only have higher production costs, but also have higher investment in design and research and development. Let me talk about the second point first, which is easier to understand, because the second point is the core. Expensive cars and cheap cars face different user groups, and the demands of user groups are different, so the focus of products is different. For expensive cars, users pay attention not only to practicality, but also to the aesthetics of design. They will pay less attention to price and are more willing to pay for more beautiful design. Cheap cars, users may be more sensitive to price, value cost performance, of course, good-looking, but not necessarily willing to spend a lot of money for good-looking. In this way, the development strategies of these two types of products are naturally different. Economy cars have the highest cost performance. In order to reduce the cost and ensure the performance, it is almost common to sacrifice the aesthetic feeling. If the cost of the car is low, the wheels are small and fuel-efficient, and the space inside the car is large enough to carry people, then the shape can't be so expensive. If you don't care too much about the cost, you have to push the car up. Then the priority level of product research and development in each department is different. The project team is more willing to invest time and resources in design (note that these time and resources will be converted into the price of products in the future), and the design team will have a greater say in the whole project, as will the cost control team.
The designer suddenly said one day, Oh, I have a new idea. Let's overturn the previous design and start over. If you are the project director of an economical car, you will definitely not pay attention to the designer at this time, but if it is an expensive car, you may seriously consider it. After all, for local tyrants, design is really critical, money is a trivial matter, and face value is more important. On the other hand, expensive cars don't care much about the cost and are forced to be high, so the priority levels of product research and development in various departments are different. The project team is more willing to invest time and resources in the design (note that these time and resources will be converted into the price of the product in the future), the design team has more say in the whole project, and it is more difficult for the cost control team to control the designer's ideas. Therefore, for expensive cars, it is not yet the turn to produce, and more money has been invested for the sake of beauty than for cheap cars.
And the first point mentioned above, the more beautiful car is designed, the production cost is undoubtedly higher. Almost every detail of luxury cars, from car body materials to car paint technology, from multiple stamping costs caused by complex car body surfaces to extra mold costs caused by high precision requirements, are costs. Not to mention those LED headlights, panoramic sunroof, solid wood inserts, all-aluminum CNC buttons, steering wheel covered with nappa calf leather, etc. These things are naked money. This piece has been mentioned by many people. For details, please refer to the powerful beauty @ pay? D's answer. However, in fact, the more expensive the car, the better it looks. It still depends on the target user group and the strength/product strategy of the manufacturer itself. For example, we all know that Koreans attach great importance to face value, so Korean cars must first look good, regardless of quality or performance. So you can see that many Korean cars look good, and the prices are quite cheap at first glance. For another example, there are a group of users who are not particularly local tyrants, but especially want to have a small sports car with great value. As for how fast the small sports car runs, it doesn't matter, so there are products like Z4 SLK, which are really beautiful and expensive. Some cars with the same price are far less beautiful than them, but their sports performance is much better than them. This is also determined by the demands of users. For another example, Zhihu has a black Maserati interior. I think Maserati's interior is really bad. Why is the interior of such an expensive car so bad? Because the design level of the manufacturer is really limited. . . Good Italian designers have basically gone to other countries because the wages are too low. . .
Is the domestic car engine at the same price inferior to the Japanese car engine?
Let's start with a true story: five or six years ago, our company designed an engine, and customers were producing it themselves. However, the customer's vehicle department wants to purchase Mitsubishi's engine, but it feels good to drive it. Actually, this is not the case, because most of our paper data are better than Mitsubishi engines, but outsourcing has unspeakable oil and water, which is much higher than internal procurement. So the leader of the vehicle department said that our own engine was noisy and didn't feel good, so I got angry. We did a blind evaluation experiment. The same car, but with different engines, we prepared three cars with Mitsubishi engines and three cars with independent engines, and the engine compartment cover was sealed with seals for blind evaluation. The kilometers are exactly the same. Starting from the company, we will benchmark the real road conditions. Every day, everyone drives the same mileage, refuels at the same time, and records the refueling times respectively. And in order to avoid the difference between drivers, we have to change drivers every day. After 5000km road test, compare the actual fuel consumption difference. Then when he came back, he asked the leader of the vehicle department to pick out the three cars that he thought were the best, the least noisy and the most stable. The results are very convincing: the fuel consumption of the whole vehicle is 5000km, and the fuel consumption of the autonomous engine and the whole vehicle is 7.8% lower on average.
The driving experience of the whole vehicle was evaluated blindly, and the three cars with the highest scores were all equipped with their own brand engines. As a result of slapping him in the face, no one thought of Mitsubishi engine anymore. His evaluation is that the compact model is not bad and worth learning. Other things, that's all. In view of the wonderful brain circuit of the sprayer, I suspect that the sprayer may only know 4G63, so I especially emphasize that it is not this broken machine. Since it was a model purchased at that time, it was naturally a model with the same price as the technical configuration at that time, and the self-owned brand engine was produced by customers, and the purchase price was about 3,000 yuan cheaper. And the result was as early as expected. After all, it is not uncommon for Mitsubishi to focus on fuel consumption fraud for more than ten years. Say yes now, and then why. First of all, this question is wrong. It produces the same engine. Today, our domestic engines can be on an equal footing with Japanese engines. I have been engaged in the engine industry for more than ten years. The engines designed by our company are widely used in major domestic engine plants, and the domestic sales are 654.38+10,000 units per month, so I am more qualified to answer than those so-called mechanical engineers. Of course, compared with top engines, we still have a big gap, but this is not a technical gap, but a gap caused by the sales price gap. This shows that the construction of domestic brands has a long way to go. Then let's talk about why: the production of engines, especially the production of civil automobile engines, is not a sophisticated production technology at all, and the gap between foreign machine tools, processing equipment and even cutting tools and casting technology simply cannot be reflected in the production of engines. Many domestic engine companies have even applied 3D printing very early, which is completely at the forefront of the manufacturing trend. The real gap is reflected in the brand value. Because the sales price of domestic cars is low and the cost space of engines is not high, the corresponding engine technology cannot be applied to them. Otherwise it's so expensive. To whom? Running an engine factory in a car factory does not mean that you won't make money if you earn face. This is the core of the problem, not the so-called basic industry or poor processing. These answers are all hearsay and have never been to the production line at all. Not to mention diesel engines, domestic diesel engines are actually among the best in the world, only a little better than Japan. If you are not satisfied, please give some examples of Japanese heavy-duty diesel engines above 10L. Keyboard car god went to find the network information himself, and really didn't make up for it. In terms of gasoline engines, mainly passenger car gasoline engines, there are three main indicators to measure the quality of engines: power, economy and durability. In terms of cost, there is no difference, assuming the same technical strength. In terms of power, the new direct injection supercharged engine made in China now has a rising power of 90kw and a rising torque of 190NM. Don't doubt this data. The engine designed by our company and put into production immediately must be within this data range.
Of course, this is related to the needs of customers. When the performance goes up, the fuel consumption goes down. These are the two ends of the balance. As for Japanese engines, you can't compare them. You know, the torque of Ferrari's conventional supercharged engine is only in the range of 180- 190NM. In terms of economy, don't talk about Toyota's so-called 40% thermal efficiency. This thing is actually nothing unusual. We can also do it and produce it. The problem is that unilateral pursuit is of little significance. Toyota can say that this is my brand image, and you? Domestic brands, the first consideration is cost-effective, so this aspect is not a question of technical ability. The direct injection turbocharged engine, the engine with a conventional fuel consumption of about 230, has already existed in China. If you don't understand this thing, don't answer engine-related questions. It's embarrassing to say it. As for Mazda's blue sky, I just smiled and didn't talk. You can check the weight of the same model, Mazda's Chuangchi Blue Sky and general direct injection turbocharging, and the fuel consumption will only be high, not low. So, it's just a braggart and a car-blind and keyboard man. There is no denying that both Toyota and Mazda are right, but they are too one-sided. Just like when you look for a husband, you only look at how much money you earn, not whether your character and health are one-sided. Of course, if you brag, you can say that you earn more money. Extreme thermal efficiency engine, that is the idea. In terms of durability, there is no problem. Now the quality control of domestic engines is gradually improving, thanks to a large number of production talents trained by Volkswagen, General Motors, Toyota and other companies, and then distributed to various domestic brands, so that now, domestic brands have a seven-year150,000 km warranty policy. If there is a problem with durability, do you think people are running a charity? Of course, there is the NVH capability of the whole machine. In fact, Japanese engines do better in details in this respect, which can be heard by listening to the engine sound. In the NVH experiment, the data may be very close, but the data from Japan and even Germany are only better. In contrast, about 20 years ago or even 10 years ago, domestic engine factories copied Japanese engines and found them easy to use and cheap. What about now? It can be said that no one has copied Japanese engines anymore. On the contrary, Volkswagen EA888 and EA2 1 1 have been regarded as standard models by generation after generation. Often customers will directly say, I want to develop a machine with better performance and fuel consumption than Volkswagen's xxx, Ford's xxx and BMW's xxx, and that Volvo 2.0T with 400NM torque is really good. Can you develop it like this? I intend to sign the contract next month. Oh, by the way, are you also responsible for ensuring production? Are you also in charge of casting molds and so on? What? So expensive? Then I have to think about it. Seeing some ignorant and fearless answers, even the camshaft and crankshaft of the engine don't know the difference in IQ, and they can't provide any dry goods except cynical cannons. The reason why I didn't offer the data before was because of trade secrets. I happen to be free today. Just quote a few people who are not lazy and can check the data of Japanese engines at the same price by themselves.
