As the fifth generation mobile communication technology, 5G network brings people the first feeling that it is "fast"! Among them, in the medical field, telemedicine not only needs to rent large-capacity network lines, but also causes deviation in the operation process because of network delay. 5G technology completely makes up for the defects of the existing telemedicine network, and the network transmission speed delay is almost zero, which greatly improves the success rate of surgery.

It is precisely because of these unique advantages that 5G will be further applied to industries, medical care, safety and other fields, which can greatly promote the production efficiency in these fields and innovate new production methods. At the same time, 5G will also penetrate into related industries such as the Internet of Vehicles and the Internet of Things, and realize the true "Internet of Everything".

Although there is still a year and a half before the official commercialization of 5 G, the three major operators have been able to capture 5G. In the field of vehicle networking, the ultra-reliable and low-delay characteristics of 5G are exactly what V2X and autonomous driving need. In recent years, the technical development of V2X has appeared, but the existing 4G communication technology can neither fully meet the requirements of V2X nor meet the technical "standard" of autonomous driving. The transformation from networked cars to remote driving, vehicle formation and real unmanned autonomous driving needs the support of network technology progress, and 5G can provide these capabilities. In the past ten years, although the thunder is heavy and the rain is small, the commercialization of 5G networks is bound to provide a more suitable opportunity for the integration of autonomous driving and car networking because of the bottleneck of basic technology.

Nowadays, the development of 5G technology has entered a critical period, and global communication operators are accelerating the verification and commercialization of 5G technology. According to GSA statistics, as of July 20 18, 42 countries and regions around the world have planned or started the auction of 5G band, and 67 operators plan to commercialize 5G from 20 18 to 2020.
