The most terrible thing is to open the recruitment website and not know what you are suitable for.

Recently, I interviewed an applicant for the position of legal specialist and had a long chat with this uncle-level applicant. I was deeply moved by his experience and current situation.

Because of his trust, he told me his past experience almost without reservation. In my impression, he shocked me very much. He said that he started a recruitment website now and didn't know what he was suitable for!

In fact, this uncle's situation was not bad a few years ago.

He graduated from the second school in Beijing, majoring in law. After graduation, I worked as a paralegal in a law firm in Beijing, handling various civil cases with lawyers. After working for three years, I switched to a guarantee company in Beijing to engage in legal work, responsible for drafting and reviewing company contracts and handling company legal affairs. After working in this company for two years, I went back to my hometown to develop and worked as an evaluation manager in a local guarantee company, responsible for the evaluation of guarantors and the mortgage of counter-collateral.

Just when he was doing well in this company, an invitation from a junior high school classmate made him give up his job related to law. The classmate asked him to resign and start a business with him, do a health check-up project (similar to children's trace element detection, the business mainly cooperates with township hospitals, without this equipment), and give him 20% of the shares. The temptation was so great that he joined without hesitation.

Since then, his life has turned a new page, from a migrant worker to a boss.

Because of the imperfect policy dividend and supervision mechanism at that time, the market was very good in the first two years and made some money. However, with the strengthening of national supervision over the medical industry, their company's business became more and more difficult, and after barely surviving for two years, it closed down. Not only did he lose the money he earned, but he also owed a lot of debts.

Desperate, he came back to have a rest and adjust himself. Later, forced by life, he began to sell drinks. However, due to the current economic downturn, his business is not ideal. After careful consideration, he decided to return to his old job and find a job related to law.

On the recommendation of a friend, he decided to try the position of legal specialist in our company.

In the process of communicating with him, I found that he had left the law major for nine years, so he was busy with business and entertainment for so many years that he neglected his study of law and failed the judicial examination. It can be said that he is far from the circle of law, because he has not obtained a lawyer qualification certificate, and applying for this position is basically not competitive at present. More importantly, I found that-

Because there is no accumulation, his major is basically abandoned;

Because there is no study, his knowledge structure is out of date;

Because there is no exercise, he is obese and seriously deformed;

Because I am not good at financial management, I am overwhelmed by usury;

Because the work does not require too much brains, his independent thinking ability degenerates;

Because he didn't give himself a reasonable position, he didn't know how to go in the future. ......

The most terrible thing is that when he was ready to start over and wanted to find a stable job, he opened the recruitment website at an unquestionable age and didn't even know what he was suitable for!

What happened to him made me feel sorry and scared, and I got a lot of warnings from him:

(1) At the beginning of your career, try to find a job related to your major. If there are no special circumstances, it is best not to change jobs frequently, unless there are no people worth learning in this unit and there is no opportunity to exercise and grow.

(2) Not everyone is suitable for starting a business, and not everyone can succeed in starting a business. You should have the "gene" of starting a business, and you should have the right time, location and people.

(3) I feel that my job is dull and I want to start a business and make a fortune, but what you don't know is that many entrepreneurs envy your job stability, just like every parent has a "child from another family" in his heart, and everyone is a landscape in the eyes of others.

(4) No matter what career you choose or start your own business in the future, remember to have a skill and find your own advantages. This is often the guy you have settled down, such as good writing, good handwriting, fluent oral English and strong communication skills.

No matter how much money you earn, you can't forget to study. Things change, you may encounter difficulties one day, but if you keep the habit of learning, you will soon adapt to that environment and stand up soon.

(6) When you are young, it is best to obtain qualification certificates with certain gold content, such as lawyer qualification certificate, certified public accountant, registered engineer, etc., after determining your professional direction. Perhaps these certificates were of little use at that time, but when you want to regain your major, they will increase your courage and confidence in starting over. In addition, because young people have a good memory, active thinking and relatively sufficient time, it is easy to calm down and generally easier to obtain relevant certificates.

(7) If possible, have less social intercourse and exercise more. Your body hides your self-discipline. Your body is the capital of the revolution and will always be the truth.

(8) If you don't manage money and money ignores you, you can avoid the financial crisis trap by learning the necessary financial management knowledge.

(9) Don't let yourself lose the ability to think independently just because the picture is easy. Always keep the habit of independent thinking and improve your cognitive level.

(10) Life has its ups and downs, whether rich or dull, sometimes it's really destiny takes a hand, there's no need to force it. Don't forget your initiative. Living in the present is the truest thing.
