Is flexible employment equal to part-time hourly employment?

Part-time hourly employment is only one mode of flexible employment.

Flexible employment also includes five other modes

1. Labor dispatch

For example: the production and operation of the company's main projects are entrusted to a third party. According to the auxiliary characteristics of some positions in the team, labor dispatch can be used for these positions.

2. Part-time system

For example: in order to ensure the livelihood of stationed employees, the company has set up a canteen to prepare working meals. However, since there are only about 20 employees stationed there, two canteen staff can complete the preparation of the three required meals in half a day's work every day. Under such circumstances, the company can employ canteen staff on a part-time basis.

3. Internships

In order to cultivate front-line production backup employees with technical expertise such as refrigeration workers, electricians and fitters, the company has established internships with several well-known local technical schools. In school-enterprise cooperation, outstanding students are usually arranged through the school to intern in the company about half a year in advance. Students who pass the two-way selection process after the internship period will be formally employed on the day after graduation.

4. Rehiring retirees

The optimization of the company's domestic hot water system requires experienced thermal engineering professionals, and such talents are mostly concentrated among retirees in similar industries. The company uses retirement and re-employment to hire suitable personnel.

5. Business outsourcing

Outsourcing some services such as the security, cleaning and maintenance of non-production facilities in office areas and property projects to professional property companies can better avoid the original problems. There are risks associated with labor relations management for positions such as security guards, cleaners, and property plumbers.
