Nokia interview process

Nokia interview process

I got Nokia's offer the day before yesterday, and I have been hesitant to write an interview, because I don't know if my experience is of reference value, because different departments and positions may make different interviewers, but in view of many students' email inquiries, I decided to share my Nokia interview experience, which is a foreshadowing for everyone, hoping to help everyone:)

My trip to Nokia began with the Nokia link I saw on the recruitment website of Beiyou people a month ago. I just sent them resumes with a try attitude, and of course I also sent n positions. Later, I don't even remember that I applied for an interview, hehe.

About a week later, I received an invitation for an interview, which was sent by email. I can see that she is a foreigner and works in technical support. I didn't think too much at that time, because I was busy preparing for the interview with Intel a few days ago, and the interview with foreigners was just an attempt. My interview was at 10 am, but I didn't expect the interview manager to pick me up in person. I learned later that her office was not in this building. Just because I was afraid that the interviewer couldn't find anyone to move to this building, I suddenly felt very warm and even a little flattered. It should be noted that foreign companies generally interview on time, especially foreigners, so everyone must not be late, even if they are late, so I am very sorry. Thank you for your patience. The interviewer is a very temperament Finnish mm with a friendly attitude. You don't even feel that you are chatting with friends during the interview. On the one hand, you mainly ask about some background and experience, which is related to the job requirements, because I interviewed for 2G &;; 3G, the technical support of PS domail of Core, she is interested in my internship experience in CMCC, and the matching problem also focuses on the project experience. Because I am a foreigner, I always want to speak English, but Finnish mm is tolerant and my English is not very good. She also encouraged me to talk well, and suddenly I gained a lot of confidence. I was interviewed in the second interview, and I am a technical expert in Finland. I am lucky because he is not in China.

Then there is HR assessment, that is, Nokia's manpower assessment, which may be different from other foreign companies. It is a comprehensive evaluation of people's quality. It will last all day, and this link will still be brushed. I also searched the internet before I went. I know this is mainly a zoo project, and I think Nokia will change. It turned out that I was wrong, or the zoo. Hehe, the assessment has four parts: zoo+Chile test+EQ test+.

At the beginning of manpower assessment, six of us were asked to do a project to build a theme zoo. There is an island surrounded by water, and there are two small towns on the other side. You can buy the land in the town, but you must build the island into a zoo. The broad-leaved forest on the island can be cut down, but it will eventually make a profit in a few years. Report your plan to the board of directors and persuade them to invest. The examiner will give us five minutes to consider our plan. If you have any questions, you can ask her. At this time, you'd better ask a question, even if it doesn't matter. You know, this is a good opportunity to attract their attention and prove that you have an idea. Next is a half-hour group discussion time. At this time, you must show some teamwork skills, because this is what Nokia values most. Sometimes, you should consider keeping your point of view close to the collective point of view, because this is an interview and time is limited, unlike in actual work, you can discuss or stick to your point of view. In this process, it doesn't matter whether you are the most important person. The key is that your voice is consistent with the team. Next time, the HR staff will ask you to choose a representative and report to the examiner. Of course, there is only one report, and it doesn't matter whether it is itself or not, but it is necessary to supplement key issues at critical times. If you report, your opinion must represent everyone's opinion. When the examiner asks some questions, your opportunity comes, because it is a good opportunity to show that you stand up when the team is in trouble; Of course, in the face of wrong questions, it is also a good performance to be brave enough to bear mistakes.

At the end of this project, HR will ask everyone to rate themselves out of 10, and then ask the reasons for the rating one by one. It should be noted that Nokia doesn't ask you to perform well, it wants the right person, so don't be under pressure during the interview. If it's yours, it must be yours.

IQ test. HR will give you an exercise book. Everyone is the same. Every question is a number. HR requires you to choose a number from each question according to the answer sheet, which meets the requirements of the answer sheet. Of course, it should be completed within 15 minutes. From my own point of view, Nokia's IQ test is very unscientific. Everyone who enters Nokia for IQ evaluation is this answer book, which means that the questions of any position, department and topic are the same, which can be confirmed by some evaluation articles written by others on the Internet. The other is that they are all graphics, and there are no other types of topics, which is definitely unscientific. Can't color-blind people do technical work? If you are not sensitive to graphics, you may be passive.

In the afternoon, I sent a bunch of 365 personality test papers, as if to draw a curve to see if it meets the requirements of the company. In short, you should try to be optimistic. They value it. That personality test is particularly funny, and there are sentence questions, such as I think women? . My answer at that time was, I think women should be independent. Everyone's answers are varied. I think women hold up half the sky. Women should be on their own. . . . . There are also 50 intelligence tests. Just a few numbers, let you choose the closest one, etc. I'm fooling around. I never know what happened. It's all intuition. Hr interviews are conducted simultaneously, one by one, each for about 40 minutes.

Next is the last item? HR interview. HR will ask you: What is the hardest part? What do you expect from your leader? What's your salary now? If I give you an offer, what do you think are the two biggest problems when you start working? ? Wait a minute. You can find better answers to these questions online, but the most important thing is to answer them according to your reality. Don't lie! And you must show your team spirit in the process of answering, don't always say? How am I? How am I? In that case. And when talking about compensation, don't overestimate Nokia's strength.

Add some points. Your manager will also attend the zoo. Our first half is Chinese and the second half is English. You can also ask English in the HR interview. If you learn English well, you won't ask.

The above is my interview experience, which may be messy. I have a cold and toothache these days: (So don't be surprised, I have seen Baidu, MS, Intel and Siemens before, and I think Nokia is the most humanized and standardized one. I can really feel their people-oriented corporate culture. I have written it before. Nokia will start their first year of large-scale campus recruitment on June 5438+February. As for the detailed information, I am not very clear now. I will go to the internship in June+February, 5438, and I will let you know if there is any information:) It can be seen that Nokia still attaches great importance to graduates from Beihou University. I hope more Bupter can join Nokia, and I wish everyone a satisfactory Offer~ ~
